Dire performance today.
Thank Everton for not playing a proper striker.

Still.
It keeps the mighty "big club" 3 pt scousers demanding/cursing that our "luck runs out" .

I dont know why there was so much fuss, i went to the pub for the second half and it was pretty comfortable! Did everton even have a shot on target!?

Seriously though when I was watching there seemed to be a massive gap between defense and midfield and at times although chances were minimal it did seem to be like a basketball match!

Its not a big call to say a spurs manager will fail, very samewith avb the odds are vastly stacked in your favour with that call. One manager in decades has succeeded all the rest have failed.

the first thing you learn when involved in football is to spend two minutes celebrating a win then start worrying about your next game

Don't get what Sherwood can do differently.

This is the reason we don't do well at home, too many moaning caaaants.

We weren't great today, but when Sandro come back, he solves everyone's pet hate Bentaleb Then everyonw can blame someone else, like Danny Rose

Playing 2 strikers for the last 10 mins invited unwanted pressure onto us, school boy error by Sherwood and we were lucky to get 3 points.

Everton`s first choice back four is so much better than the shambles that played Liverpool when they had 2 of them missing.

A draw would have been a fair result

Poor old Arry.
Built the gallows that he and future Spurs managers have and will be executed on.

He is not my pet hate at all he may turn into a very good player for us but at the moment he should be used for what he is and thats a very inexperienced novice

I have spent the best part of 50 years supporting spurs i'm well past worrying about the next game

Just ask yourself what is one of evertons major threats with regards scoring goals.

Its Baines getting forwards and everybody knows it. So I have a great idea at 1-0 up with 5 minutes to go lets put a novice out there to stop him Ridiculous from Sherwood and thats that

"Then everyonw can blame someone else, like Danny Rose"

You should go and read the Theory of Constraints.
There is always something to blame for poor(er) performance.
The problems come when you cannot fix it.

I cant believe so called supporters on here are criticizing, sherwood, Bentaleb, etc.

FFS we have beat a very good Everton side today. Yes we didnt play that well and yes Everton deserved a draw and yes they should have had a penalty but we won. How many times have we seen spurs boss teams, have all the possession and chances and have drawn or lost. The difference to day was one great bit of skill and a great finish by our player.

Bentaleb did well today, nothing spectacular but he is a very good player in the making. We need to get behind him and support him.

Since Sherwood and Bentaleb have represented Spurs our record at least in the premier league is very good.

6 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss. 20 points out of a possible 27.

Right result officially enjoyed.

Newcastle?

Even if we played like we did today we'd win comfortably

Plus knocked out of one cup when being 1-0 up with 5 minutes to go against a bad side plus a quick exit from the other cup

grandspurs is worried about Sherwood getting the di Matteo effect.
