Deciding what role Bentaleb has, will be is interesting.
From his Academy time, he is not a playmaker.
Neither he is a pure DM beast like Sandro and Capoue.
So in the Academy 4-3-3, he was fulfilling the "grafter" role.
Which is what Dembele and Paulinho are ostensibly for in the seniors.

Alan Brazil don't actually mind him to be honest but boy is his opinions on "davey" pathetic. Just admit he's an average manager that should never be at a club like united. I'm glad because it's great seeing united in such a mess
