The answer we all know it was Bale who commanded a record transfer fee.

Was he rushed in and played every game when he was older and more experienced than Bentaleb? No he was not and it worked out well.

I'd say Bale.

The only thing "wrong" seems to be that there are sufficient in the senior squad to be playing ahead of Bentaleb. The MF formation today was dire, Bentaleb or not.
