We have not gambled because we know the chances of it are not even worth considering.

We had two trophies we were capable of winning and we just threw one of them away.

We're certainly capable of winning bigger than just the League Cup with this team. You don't get to 86 points in the league if you aren't a team capable of bigger prizes.

I'm pisssed off that we've lost today but it's daft to treat it like that's our one big chance gone.

Having had half an hour to think about it. I am annoyed by the way we lost it but winning this cup is not a priority. If we win on Saturday that more than makes up for it

Yep. The truth is, no team can compete on every front.

As others have said, it's more the manner of the defeat than the fact it's a defeat that's annoying. For us to be 2-0 up and then lose at a ground we're supposed to be getting used to is unforgivable.

If that's the point you were making fair enough, but it seemed to be more about the chance of winning the tournament than the way we went out of it.
