Ffs we didn’t lose the game because Lloris was sent off, and I fail to see how it can be a goal scoring opportunity if the player has kicked the ball towards our covering defender. Appalling decision from the ref

This is what happens when you don't freshen the squad not only for the additional quality but to rejuvenate the current crop.

Nobody is winning anything here.

Now you probably need 5-6 signings over the Jan and Summer window and we'd probably still end up stagnating with the loss of others.

Didn’t say we did. Just making an observation. He got himself sent off and made it harder than it should have been. The other 10 are also nonsense for dominating a game and not winning it

I see one or two of the usual suspects want to pin all the blame on Lloris (the same people who exonerate Levy of any blame for anything)...

Did Lloris disallow a valid goal?
Did Lloris not take his chances?
Did Lloris misinterpret the meanings of ‘last man’ and ‘goalscoring opportunity’?

I think not.

We were the better team but poor officiating and a lack of clinical finishing cost us. However we were under the cosh from the inter collapse.

Well Poch started making big claims about making signings in the summer, didn’t happen. So maybe he should stop mouthing off

From the players' point of view, even though they themselves didn't do enough tonight, they're just going to equate us not doing anything in the summer to us going out in the CL early and it's just going to give them second thoughts about wanting to stay at this ambitionless club.

Such a poor, poor result in so many aspects.
