In this current market a clear out is going to be difficult. People won’t pay 15m for a Winks or Davies at this point.

Definitely the execution and end result has been poor. Lucas was terrible in the first half and Lamela takes too long on the ball. I'm guessing that's why he pushed Ndombele forward then tried Dele. I don't think it's helpful to equate players' performances with tactics. As if Jose would tell them to play crap

I don’t think he tells them to play - that’s the problem. For weeks now as well our ability to transition quickly on the counter has got worse to the point we are completely passive - win the ball and there is no movement - it just goes backward, or in Lucas case, to the opposition.

If Bale was any good he would be on the pitch. Struggled at Madrid and they are still dancing on the street we took him of their hands. I said it then . Waste of money and a terrible signing.

Since beating Arsenal in December, we've won 8 out of 18 games in all competitions, and those wins have included wins against Marine, Wycombe, Stoke and Brentford. Aside from that, we've beaten the current bottom two in the Premier League, Leeds and Antwerp.

Only three wins against PL opposition and one against a decent Royal Antwerp side. Many other terrible performances.
