Anyone with a brain would of known that and tried to sort the deal out earlier
I hope this clears it up...seems to make good sense to me. But once again you could blame Levy because had we started this process two weeks earlier instead of waiting for the Modric money we could have had a World Class midfielder in squad (he'll never learn). We end up playing 36 game seasons because he throws away early season points by not signing our players before the season starts.
shouldnt have left the deal so late.
After a deal had been agreed between Tottenham and Porto, it was then up to Porto to buy out the third party ownership of the player
=====================
why would it be "up to Porto" ??
buyer beware !

We had no idea Modric was going
maybe he's just going down the shops or something
i heard a rumour, daniel levy's asked him to try to buy mouthino for 50p.
luka's back
turns out levy sent him to Boots the chemist.
according to luka, they dont even sell mouthinos.
Levy's furious.
He asked Luka for his 50p back, but Luka's spent it on some real madrid stickers.

Glad somebody posted this , for me I'm not sure if it was all down to 3rd party stuff , could very well been but I'm going for the resurrection of the Hulk >>>>Zennit deal , Porto only wanting to sell one of their stars so when the Russians came back in for Hulk offering far more cash than they would get for Mout they put enough obstacles in the way until the deadline passed.................TBH could be either or both
I don’t give a stuff about the rights or wrongs of third party ownership, but the rules should be the same for all Leagues within FIFA. West Ham were screwed over this. Levy may have dodged a bullet for you guys.
Let’s have a level international playing field, come on the FA and Premier League, and join the century of the Fruit bat.
Exit ......Agree
Should be the same for all and I'll add the closing dates of the windows as well , when 95% of the opposition cannot compete then something is wrong
Exit - that was last century - it's the century of the anchivy now Otherwise agreed
Good article (should really link to the source loa) and I can believe this or what squid says. Basically Levy effed up big time leaving it so late, costing us the first two games AGAIN, and (just like the Bent and Frazier Cambell season) leaving us very light in a key area of the pitch
Arguably this is even worse as Moutinho would have been more than 'just' a player to us - both our talisman and a big pro-AVB influence in the dressing room
And even though it will affect Chelsea and the two Manc clubs more than the rest of the English teams so I shouldn’t care, I guarantee the fair play rules will be enforced more vigorously in England than anywhere else.

Your half right in that it is now the century of the Anchovy, English football however has not even entered the one before.
At least one person got the reference.

Kimchi, totally agree with you here. The value of Moutinho would be as much in the dressing room and on the training ground as on the pitch, no doubt a player of his class would've really helped AVB in establishing how he wants to play.
