Well said, well said.
I'm thinking AVB will last just a little bit longer than he did at Chelsea.
Reason, Levy is bereft of any alternative plan, ATM.
We're stuck.
Why on earth have a transfer window at all. Aren't contracts strong enough?
Chicken so it's Ok for you to say what you want or anybody that agrees with you but NOBODY is aallowed to question them

I feel I have every right to criticise Levy and doubt that direction he has taken us in
...................
Fine you are of course entitled to your opinion but I will say that the direction he's taken us in is to an almost permanent top 5..
---------------------------
Squid mate, I think you're missing the points I'm making...I'm not sure why, I think you may possibly be missing the wood for the trees, although on the other hand I'm quite prepared to accept it may be the way I'm explaining them.
To put things another way: there is a huge difference between criticising a single decision Levy takes (or even a group, or succession, of them), and criticising his overall tenure at the club. The former I do, and don't see why I shouldn't, the latter I don't.
I think he has made some utterly ridiculous, stupid decisions (being caught courting Ramos before the season started, only to deny it, and then replace Jol with him - who had been totally undermined because of it in the first place - was the worst for me).
I am worried he has come across like a right this summer that will affect our future dealings with other clubs (pulling 'a Modric' over Willian and then backing out at a price when the price was what he should have expected anyway, and then Lloris).
I am extremely concerned about this new signings 'committee', but as we don't have to think about it for another few months hope people like Deschamps will stop reminding us about it and I will be able to forget all about it
If I feel AVB is not given enough time by Levy then he will again get it in the neck from me I'm afraid. Only on here though unfortunately

I havent been following this thread since my little comedy ensemble during the afternoon, but I do agree with this.
Sorry but I've just about had enough of the stick that Levy gets....The man has done more for our club than any other since Billy Nick and if you think I'm talking rubbish then have a little think about it
The stadium he has spent years and years trying to sort
The 5 out of 6 top 5 finishes
The great football we all enjoyed so much
He's not perfect he does make mistakes but he totally deserves our respect for all the good he has done
Whenever a story appears in the press like the Remy rubbish the other day , there were untold slagging him off but how many of those posted they were wrong when it was proved to be garbage

Are you talking to me squid?!
Fair enough, I read my previous post back and realise that I didn't praise the good things, but I always have done at the time...on here and 606 previously. Right now some things greatly concern me.
I gave him no stick over Remy, no idea what you're talking about mate, don't even know what that story was about...

And I've said in previous posts that while my reaction at the time was that Levy went through the motions for Moutinho, I've now changed my mind and am more open to articles like this (i.e. that I was hasty) but it was obvious that it was never going to come off...my revised opinion is that he left it far too late. I think that's a genuine stance to have (?)
Galv if you go to WHL you will seethe whole complex has already started ...Did you think I made it up or something ???
So you are right about AVB then , yeah mate sack him now after all 3 games is more than enough time to judge him on.....
this avb / levy debate is getting crazy now.
this is the first argument on here where ive seen people on the same side arguing over how the views should best be expressed
Harry got himself sacked , he was offered a new deal but did not want to know because in his own mind he'd already got the job
We were 13 points ahead of 3rd when the git Coppello resigned and Harry was appointed by the media , when Roy was appointed and he got his mind back on Spurs we managed 3 wins and a draw from the last 4 games
Jol is a strange one and has to do with Arenson , Comolli and a hatful of football politics

Kimchi mate I have no idea who I was talking too
Galv They are starting on the Supermarket and the new stadium has received everything it needs to go ahead , probably trying to get some more funding in place , hopefully the cash we raise from the S.M will get it started but it has still cost millions upon millions to get it this far

It's really bizarre mate, I am genuinely mystified...I try to be balanced and criticise where I see fit and praise likewise. There are kneejerk reactions, because we all have so much passion, and drunken nonsense (because some of us are silly enough to come on here when drunk ) but I personally try to take these things back if I feel I've been wrong, and I think we all know the regular posters who don't have any objectivity, don't we?
Funnily enough I picked a 'fight' over this very point a few days ago (when completely drunk) with grandspurs, but happily was given a double 'sunshine' to send me on my way I will apologise to him next time I see him on here (Only a bit mind as he gave as good as he got, and talked almost as much rubbish )
The one appointment I dreaded (purely on hearsay) was AVB. But, since he's come he's impressed me far more than I thought, and just getting to know a bit more about him other than from Cha-avs and the media circus he struck me as someone who deserves our support.
I also supported him, and still do, because Levy appointed him, and I like to think he has learnt a few lessons in his time at Spurs, because despite all the wonderful things he's done he's also made some utterly awful mistakes.
Some things this summer have led me to think he hasn't learned some of the most important lessons, and I will call it as I see it.
Squid is someone I almost always agree with - if not in opinion then at least the way he expresses himself and talks to other people, so I'm not sure what we're disagreeing about (?)
Galv - correct me if I'm wrong, but you're one who wasn't so easily brought around after a similar amount of scepticism about AVB as me (?) And yet here he is, wishing AVB all the best and hoping the team do well. You can't say fairer than that I reckon.
I'm confused
Easily done though to be fair

Fair enough buddy, and we've all got our frustrations - at least it shows our passion (as long as it's not all negative on here and we can discuss but take other points on it's all good for me )
Paul the Pundit - get on Talksport right now and tell them what's what - Spurs fans tearing strips off each other because we all agree - what a bunch we are
Talk about square pegs and round circles, I mean round squares and circles of pegs...I mean GET ON TALKSPORT NOW YOU MUPPET
And send us the link when you do mate
ive always thought that there needs to be some sort of spreadsheet system where posters just register their views with a tick in the relevant column.
