Busby - its been this way since the game turned professional, why change now. Also it simply then becomes a game of monopoly. As said, technically if your club is in debt, you are not spending your own money...

Busby - they are using the word 'fair' - what is fair about letting clubs profit from a corrupt Champions League then stopping others competing?

Can you explain what makes the champions league corrupt?

I've come across you before, you told me you were a veteran united fan! When I asked how old you were, you answered, "31".
It would seem you are the 'special' one!

A veteran at 31
It still tickles me, even now

Never ever used that term but you can say what you like sweetcheeks. It's a free world.

The Champions League continues to seed teams thus making it more difficult for the smaller clubs to get through to the latter stages and therefore allows the G14 plus a select few the access to greater revenue...

Is that what makes it corrupt? Then, the world cup and euros and even tennis are corrupt

Indeed. Anything Uefa or Fifa are involved in is blatantly corrupt. Tennis being somewhat different as 2 of the top 4 are still in the same half of an open draw.

And they aren't looking for unfair fairness. Several clubs have been able to earn vast revenues and build a global brand, now they're asking for fairness.

Total ballocks!

So asking clubs to live within their means is corrupt?

In every sport in the world, there are seeds and it's done for the same reason. You get seeded because of your performances. You work for it, you earn it.

However clubs who haven't done the hardwork want to be seeded?

Earn it. It's something to work towards. I wonder how you would feel if you were a spurs or Everton fan.
