I think Holtby works better in CAM, he is excellent in that position for Germany u21s as well. Neustdadter been doing really well as well recently, very happy with our defence + AM/WC options. Still feel we need to improve our squad depth more though. Draxler better on wings, coming inside IMO, but personal opinion.
I find draxler too slow but hey it shows what a wonderful squaD we have that we can debate who is in and who is out
We certainly couldn't do that 2+ years ago
Very happy with how we have played so far this season, only lost to the best team in the world in Bayern Munich (IMO they are, call me fickle or deluded ) but we have had 2 great results in the space of 5 days, may it continue
well played borussia dortmund...deserved that victory
Dortmund
Good in the CL, poor in the league so far....Long may that continue before Bayern stuff your face in both
I thought Schalke also had a good young llayer called Pukki ?
Klaas-Jan Huntelaar now entering his 30's and isn't getting any younger and could be on the move away which would be a shame but Pukki is just the player to replace him. 22 years old and just filled with goals.
Bremen losing already vs Greuther
They have Gerrry Asamoah, didn't know he was still in the Bundesliga
hamburg moving up the table
Schalke drawing with Nurnberg currently, Hunty been poor, Afellay and Farfan have been lively so far though
Can anyone update me with some scores?
Farfan scored for Schalke, we won 1-0 in the end
Dortmund beat Freiburg 2-0
Gotze + Subotic with the goals
Bas Dost grabbed 2 goals, with Olic and then Diego with a penalty to wrap up a 4-1 victory for Wolfsburg
A Szalai hattrick incpired Mainz to a 3-0 win over Hoffeinham, Mainz have won 3 on the bounce now
Saturday Bundesliga Round-up by me
dortmund
madrid will eat them alive in the bernabeu.....hopefully
Szalai, another one that escaped the Liga thread.
itsonlyagame, It inspired me to make this
Szalai played for Madrid's youth academy.
Itsonly, was he good for them? Impressed with his hattrick today, I must say.
I t finally looks like Bas Dost is back on track with Wolfsburg
Bas Dost not a great striker really. He looked good at the level he was at really but hasn't looked great so far.
Far easier in the Dutch League as there isn't many quality teams only really 3 maybe even 4 max.
I the Bundesliga there are at least 6 quality European teams or what should be European teams so he will find it tough I think.
I like Dost, he isnt the best but I like him
