Our play is encouraging. Assaidi will be massive for us. Just a little bit of purpose in the final third and it will be game, set, match.
Our philosophy is about keeping the ball and Henderson is very good at doing that, except for the first goal

I agree with TOOR to an extent. Downing probably would be good for say West Ham or Stoke.
Its not just about tactics and personnel though, the guy has no balls.

No balls is such an easy throw away comment to make but it's not like that at all. He is destroyed inside, his confidence is shattered, he played in a team throughout the season not suited to him and now it's even less suited to him. What can he do?

They are two up, so I'll ask you, what game are you watching?
I noticed a couple of times Henderson could have played an acute pass forward to the wing position think one of them was to Wisdom a tricky forward pass but for a premiership player one you would expect him to make. Instead he turned sideways and passed the ball to Sahin giving the defenders time to get back into position and making the attacking threat harder.. Its football like this that let us down last season and makes it harder for the team to score goals.. Sometimes the game is as simple as you make it 3 forward passes can create a goal-scoring opportunity. The worst offenders for this turn back and kill attack style are Henderson and Enrique lucky for us both currently have no chance of featuring in our first team..
So who is providing the penetration then? Cause right now if I was Sahin I would be miffed at Hendo right now.
