I like this
"Player fatigue has maintained the match by match recovery changes from FIFA 13 but appears to be more harsh on in-game fatigue, with more players in to the orange/red values.

This doesn't make sense to me this just reinforces the need to have a whole 2nd XI rather than just rotating in a few positions

Thank god
"A new “Reject all/Disallow future offers” option has been added to the transfer offer screen. This will prevent clubs from persistently offering for players you do not want to sell at any price.

Don't really need this as I suspect the board will still force a sale anyway
I like the masking overalls in theory, but won't we roughly know them from UT and H2H? Very good though because it means everyone won't be buying the same old players.
Didn't like the sound of OVR masking, it sounds like it'll just be annoying. And it's hardly realistic, in real life, well for big signings, you will generally now how good they are, what strengths and weaknesses they'd bring.
Good that you can finally scrap the first transfer window
We got as far as the end of the January Transfer Window in our Career Mode Preview at which point we reviewed the player growth of our Man Utd squad.
Rio Ferdinand, Ryan Giggs and Patrice Evra our older players had all dropped by just -1 OVR. Danny Welbeck, Wilfred Zaha and Tom Cleverly were all up +1 OVR and the biggest jump we saw was a +2 for Adnan Janujaz.
Nah I liked the player growth in FIFA 13! Don't want to go back to the dark days of FIFA12 when your players were lucky to grow 3 points in a season.
It was stupid. Players with 99 on all physical stats and players over 32 dropping about 5 overall in one season
It was too little on 12, and too much on 13.
Need to find an in-between state
I don't like how they're reverting to the FIFA 11-12 kind of player growth. All they need to do is start youth players who have high potential on reasonably high technical stats and let the physical stats gradually rise as they approach their peak not like on FIFA 13 where youth with high potential start with crap stats and their physical stats grow rapidly whilst their technical stats don't grow until they're 24 or 25.
Welbeck growing 1 by January is perfect. Any more would be silly.
Depends if the growth rate is like that for all players or if players that are already at a reasonably high OVR grow slowly whilst players from the youth academy have a steeper growth curve
I'm guessing Janujaz was in the reserves so +2 is ok. Probably more with a loan.
Do young players actually grow in height as they get to their 20's?
I think Andrei said youth players do
What age range is a youth player though?
The youth academy players are between 14-18
The guy said that Januzaj only played 3-4 games but improved more than Cleverley and Welbeck. Needs to actually be related to game time.
Game time shouldn't matter too much for players under 20 I'd say.
Hiding overalls just gives even more excuse to buy players with high pace only.
Also what about when you just want a quick signing? Like just a short-term back-up GK, anyone will do type of thing, or if a player gets long term injrued and you're lucky enough to be in the window. Don't want to spend weeks scouting a player just so you can make a bid.
The contract length search function will also definitely get annoying if it doesn't have an option for 'any length'.
Sorry, being a bit negative..just think they've added novelties which will get irritating after a while.
You can do transfers the old way as well you just only get a list of names and ages rather than their overall and stats

In FIFA 13 everyone's stamina and sprint speed went through the roof though so you could basically run as much as you wanted. Hopefully less sprinting, I think harsher fatigue system helps
'Very good though because it means everyone won't be buying the same old players.'
I wouldn't bet on it, expect FIFA YouTubers (Calfreezy, MGH especially) to check the potentials before they buy. What is the point? Hopefully it'll be good for us though.

I think FIFA 12 was the best for growth. FIFA 13 was stupid. The overalls went up too much but even worse were the physical stat where every player and his dog had crazy sprint speed and stamina. Christian Eriksen was the worst, think his acceleration and sprint speed started off around 85 and 80 respectively and both increased into the 90s. That's just unrealistic.

This guy knows Players like Puyol and Schwarzer decreased into the low 70s and even into the 60s.
