If you are reading this, why did you pull my article about the Goose Fair?

posted on 3/10/12

Actually Iwas I complained about that as you were using racist language.

treeburning, it would if either Cox or Lansbury had been preventing fielding from releasing the ball which they weren't.

It is legitimate for a player to prevent a keeper from dropping the ball to the floor rather than throwing it or kicking it from his hands which fielding could have done

why is Hoons, Lloyd, sarah, Midget, Left ball only, etc etc etc not coming out to play.

Still fuming

Iwas you are showing yourself to be exceedingly stupid. When you have the moral high ground in an argument you do not throw it away by making racist comments.

Didn't think that remark would last long on here Iwas.

Going back to the main article. Tesco could go a long way to making up some of their lost profits by stocking up on sour grapes in Nottingham. They appear to be selling out fast.

If Forest are so clean, how come they are at the bottom of the 'fair play' table (or is that top of the thuggery table) this season?

I bet their scrupulously fair challenges in all their other games were also refereed by biased officials.

They've got 3 (THREE) thugs suspended already, and they haven't even played a game in October.

I think they have every chance of breaking the record for most bookings in a season. Mind you, that's what you expect when all you play is hoofball.

As usual, Rev = The voice of reason.

Derby did go out to imtimidate Forest and Forest did lose the plot because of that. However, we won't be the only side to try that out on you this season especially as it worked so well.

But don't mention the fact that despite dominating first half possession we barely fashioned a single goal scoring opportunity.

You'd think some of these Forest fans have never seen a championship game of football before. I'm amazed at the criticism levelled at Buxton. Centre backs getting stuck in to big centre forwards is what happens week in, week out. Did we cry our eyes out when a young lad playing for Blackpool did this to Hulse a few seasons back? No, we went out and signed him because that's good defensive play.

Of course if you never go to watch your local team and spend all your time watching the champions league on the telly this might be difficult to understand. I think that might explain both the delusion of some Forest posters and the consistantly poor attendances at the City Ground.

With one or two partial exceptions, on their good days, Forest fans aren't half thick. They seem to think that they are the innocent, injured party in this. What have they got to say about their awful disciplinary record? Is every ref, in every game, simply biased against Forest? We can be proud of our record which reflects the instillation of good values and fair play into the players, whereas Forest players, apart from the yellow and red cards which they pick up faster than Reid picks up his half-time biscuits, seem to spend most of the game whingeing to the ref, rather like the fans do on here.

You need to sort yourself out, lads. Model yourselves on us, and you won't go far wrong.

To the bitter Forest fan still wondering why Cox and Lansbury got booked, look up Law 12 of the official FIFA Laws of the Game.

Whether the opposition player is inside OR outside of the box, it is an offence to attempt to prevent the keeper from releasing the ball from his hands.

As for the OP trying to claim Cox's "challenge" on Brayford was any less dangerous than any of Derby's - I think it might be time to take a fairly large dose of anti-bias pills.

Started to read the article, but couldn't get beyond the first 3 lines. Simply pathetic. Rose-tinted glasses or what?!!

Forest were crap (even their hoofball was poor )
Derby wanted it more.
The ref did pretty well, tried to let the game flow initially.
The decisions evened themselves out.
We won.
We deserved it.

Get over it.

End of.

I am quite amazed at the masochistic tendencies of some Forest fans. Not content with the wound to their pride we inflicted on Sunday they now wish us to rub salt into it at every opportunity.

Whereas I am still very happy at the result I hope our players have stopped celebrating. We have a game to play this evening, as do Forest, for exactly the same number of points we were playing for on Sunday.

Well said Rev, agree with you completely. The discipline is a major problem and as for constantly arguing with the ref, I hate to see that. They need to just bite their tongues and get on with it and SOD needs to sort them out.

Whether the ref was poor or not is no excuse for us not taking our chances and wrapping the game up by half time.

He needs to look at the values Sir Brian instilled in his teams any indiscipline and unprofessionalism would certainly not be tolerated.

---------

There's getting stuck in and there's consistently cheating. One's pushing the rules to the limit the other is cheating. The ref let it go unpunished so Buxton carried on kicking Dex and running up back every time the ball came near him.

It's cheating and the ref showed he wasnt up to the job by letting in go on.
