"The discipline is a major problem and as for constantly arguing with the ref, I hate to see that. They need to just bite their tongues and get on with it and SOD needs to sort them out."
"There's getting stuck in and there's consistently cheating. One's pushing the rules to the limit the other is cheating. The ref let it go unpunished so Buxton carried on kicking Dex and running up back every time the ball came near him."
Whether the ref was poor or not is no excuse for us not taking our chances and wrapping the game up by half time.

erm...what chances??
sutton That big nasty Jake Buxton frightened our expensive forwards ....its not fair
Still fuming
Not blinkered then? grow up, it's a man's game, or at least it used to be. Oh, and get over it. YOU LOST.
Thanks for the 3 points. Next?

Who are you saying is the cheat here? Buxton or the ref?

__________
No.
Buxton was cheating.
Buxtons a cheat. The ref just didn't have the ability to his job.
Surely Buxton was "pushing the rules to the limit" which you say is ok. If he was cheating he would have had to be in charge of booking himself and refused to do so?

Sutton, this really IS embarrassing, I would leave it if I were you, trust me
I WOULD bet against that Rev, fancy a flutter?

I'll give you 4/1 that Forest will NOT win the return leg by 3 clear goals..
.. I think that's more than fair

Three or four challenges within a pretty short space of time and everyone deserved a booking. He set out to foul and that's cheating. I suppose he could only do this because the ref allowed him to do it. But cheating is cheating. And what's worse is he didn't just lash out, it wasn't a moment of madness or rush of blood to the head in a big game. It was thought out, pre planed, cynical, he went out with the game plan to cheat for as long as he could get away with it.
You could get really good odds on that at the bookies rev. I would wait and see where Forest are at the time. They could be in a relegation battle by then so you the odds would be even longer.
Unlike Sutton at least you aren't sounding like Vicky Pollard. "Yeah but, the ref was rubbish etc etc"
Buxton I love a winner me
Here is a player report sutton

I'm embarrassing and sound like Vicky Pollard. But not wrong. I'll give Derby credit where it's due, the best move of the game resulted in the winning goal.
I've never made excuses in the past when we've lost to Derby. I'll hold my hands up and say when Derby beat us twice last season they did so because they were better than us. But this time I don't believe that's the whole story. So that's what I'm going to say.

Rev, you're on!
I'll be true to my word also
In your eyes then sutton football is absolutely riddled with cheats yes?
Or is it just Buxton who "makes his presence known" in games especially of this nature?
Who do you think will be managing Forest then Rev?
