Just got bac from eyr treatment so ATM cannot see too much , have not read the thread but I can tell you that EVERY FIT squad member has tracvelled except brad
Daddy ...400or so laser hits but NO injections into the eye today
No wonder I'm a grumpy git sometimes
squid
How long did it take?
The missus is thinking of having some laser treatment done but as is probably standard, she's a bit squeamish.
Chicken
Depends on the machine they use ...the old types have a one at a time method , the new ones can hit up to 25 at a time , I had between 4 and 500 hits today at 3 hits a time and that took about 15 minutes .....After a while you get a strange feeling at the back of the eye and Not kidding a burning taste at the back of the throat but I think that's imaginary , I've no idea what type of laser your Mrs will have but just like the injections into the back of the eye the thought is a 100 times worse than the actual treatment
Cheers squid, i'll pass the info on.
Squid - the old man said he could smell burning when he had his eyes done
HRH
TBH it does make sense as I think there is a tract which connects the back of your eyes to the back of the throat ....I have to have drops every day into my eyes and I can deff taste them ...Nice to know I'm not going strange ...
He said it smelt like singed hair...nice
Weare,
Glad to see that Vertongen has played left back like i said pre season
============================
I meant to say yesterday, the only reason Vertongen is playing LB is because BAE & Naughton are injured, and our attacking threat was being hindered by Bale playing there – so he wasn’t playing there by tactical preference, more so as our 4th choice, and last option.
And Chronic, i see what you mean now. I notice Vertongen wanders inside (to CB position) and he does get beating by crosses too often. His attacking option is good, but he needs to work more on his defending if he is selected for LB in future.
I know that Chicken but i hav enot been impressed with BAE for a while so im happy to see him at left back
Weare,
As i say, i thought he did okay there but can now see what Chronic means.
I'm also prepared to eat humble pie by saying he has impressed me more than i thought he would at CB. And i think he should stay at CB, because he seems more natural there, where at LB he doesn't.
Well good to have cover for all positions at the back apart from walker really
Naughton is cover for Walker. And so is Kaboul (when he comes back).
i know that but not ideal cover for that position
kaboul is the best CB we have

job number 1 of a full back = stop the man you are marking's supply line.
i wonder if our fullbacks know this?
The worst thing about the second half at old trafford is that we just tried to defend the final ball into our box instead of trying to stop it coming in, in the first place..

In a nutshell, yeah. But who's fault was that?
all the players
we just went to deep and the midfield pushed back onto the defenders and it was just the same mental fear that we always have at old trafford but now after winning we might have more belief

Should we be playing our Strongest XI....
