CL qualification is a must and I'd take the FA cup this season.
As an arsenal any cup and top 3 finish.
CL qualification, anything else is a bonus.
Truetored.........................................I think that Liverpool's main thrust this season is getting back up the league & possibly a trophy. The PL is way beyond your reach possibly for a few years to come unless things turn around dramatically for you.
As a United fan I expect that we compete for the PL title and are in with a genuine chance until the last few weeks. Winning a cup is a bonus.
Chaz.......................................With the players you have got this season I think that you will definitely qualify for the CL, it's nice to see Chelsea playing with some style!!
Except in two weeks of course!!
Elvis....................After we won at OT, I thought United might struggle but an emphatic win at St James Park has done you a lot of good!
henry.................................You are certainly looking sharp if a little vulnerable at the back. I love Cazorla, he looks a great buy!

We have the personnel to win the title this year, I have no doubt about that. However, SAF keeps picking teams that have many United fans scratching our heads. I hate to see our fans criticise SAF, but I have myself been annoyed with some of his decisions this season. Hopefully we get a bit more luck with injuries this season too, but it hasn't been a great start in that sense.
I am always amazed at the resilience of United teams, losing with minutes to go & they often turn it around in those minutes.
I don't like Ferguson as a person, however one has to admire his achievements at the helm of MU!
Do you think he has stayed on maybe a year or two too long?
Just to be challenging for the title in the PL and wouldn't mind a good FA Cup run
CL is a bit of an unknown this season for me. Think we will win our group fairly comfortably now but haven't the first clue how we will get on after that.
Entirely depends on the club subjected to the question. If you are Norwich manager, staying in the league is a success.
If you are Liverpool manager a top 6 or 7 is a success and a manager in charge or Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea, City an Utd will be expecting a top 4 finish.
Morning Mr Chelsea! Not like you to be so cautious?
Top 4 finish and the FA cup!
COC Winner beating Liverpool 5-0
FA Cup Winner beating City 4-0
Cl winner beating Barca 6-1
PL winner beating Utd by 15 points
Now that's what success will be
as a spurs fan..
aim - top 4 and a trophy
content with - good cup run and top 5
below par - below top 6 and no cup win.
Just kidding before WUM fest begins
Top3 and a cup
one of the 3 major trophies, preferably the PL
Hello Genius
I'd class a top 3 finish and an FA Cup as a success this season. I can see us having a bad patch this season which we always do..
However saying that, Look at the attacking players we've got, I dont see Hazard/Oscar/Mata/Moses/Marin/Torres all being out of form at the same time. One/two of them should atleast be able to win a match for us.
mr chelsea when is marin going to play? is he still injured?

No I dont think that he has stayed on too long. If not for horrendous injuries last season then the title would have been ours. That said, he did make some poor decisions in Europe last season. I also think that he has been too cautious in the way that he has approached certain games, whereas in the past he would trust his team to blow the opposition away. I'd like to see a return to that and the younger players given more opportunity, especially Clevs, Ando and Smalling. But he is still the best manager in the PL for me.
Football has to be one of the few mainstream sports in the world where league positioning maintains a healthy and fanatically chaseable target as opposed to winning any silverware!
Of course this is all supported by financial rewards as that is all Premier League safety and Champions League qualification really is. I guess it's just a shame that money over silverware has such a firm grip on the expectations of supporters and more importantly the owners of each club compared to ethching your clubs' name in the history books.
Of course when asked this question, the powers that be at each club will deny this! A funny old game isn't it?!
You always have to aim to improve on the season before, whichever club you are. As such, from finishing 1pt from 3rd last season, we have to aim for 3rd.
Anything lower than 4th will be failure.
