Hero: Robert Gerard Sands.

Heroine: I am not sure, I do have admiration for female athletes such as katie Taylor though.

My heroine is my mum. A phenomenal woman. And I'm being serious on that.

Thatcher is your heroine

Of all the people in the history of the planet you choose her. Do you seriously believe she is a hero? or are you really just a cardboard cut out stereotype of a rangers fan?

"Auld Maggie man she's pure true blue so I better think she's brilliant, gstq n aww that "

Chuman read the Record about those "hard done by souls" wee guy from Manchester livin in a 1bed on the dole with a "fiancee" who lives with her mother. They are both 21 have 1 child and another on the way! Honestly hard done by pffft responsible parenting!

Yes Maggie is a heroine and stood up for Britain as and when required!

eh???? I genuinely have no idea what your chatting about super. I'm sure it's a well informed factual based account of modern life and not some twist anecdote from a paper I would even let my dog Shiite on.

just out of curiosity, did you live during Thatchers reign? did you live in Scotland at that time? were you or your father or mother employed in any of the heavy industries at the time?

btw thank feck she stood up to those pesky argies eh

Chuman - yes I lived in the eighties, yes I lived in Glasgow! Regarding the heavy industries do you talk of the failed industries like mining, british steel, shipyards?
I had relatives in the Scotstoun yard and Govan yard both of which still go on! I also worked for British Steel so can give you chapter and verse on the demise of that and why the Government was correct not to continue funding a "union wrecked" industry

Those heavy industries had a time and place but the government called time at the correct time, hard choice but the correct one!

Please

What do economies fall back on during a recession, based on history it is there own heavy industries and construction projects. construction and manufacturing is the cornerstone of any economy.

we couldn't even go back there now because a huge number of those skills have been lost.

she was determined to destroy the working classes mate and she was very successful in doing so. all based on economic ideals of the chicago boys that were being implemented by South American dictators. Have a read about her best mate Pinochet.

the one saving grace is that history will expose the woman for what she was and her current condition is nothing but karma.

Chuman - remind me of the state of the natio prior to Thatcher coming to power. Remind of the previous labour govs expenditure on said industries that left them crippled by unions and massively under invested. It was this terminal position that meant no socialist consortium rode in to save them! Wakey wakey mate! And to mock her current condition dearie me i hope your life is free of ailments

look at the current state of things super. high unemployment, lenders who won't lend, people struggling to get a foot hold on the property market.

Thatcher sold off all our national resources to the highest bidder for what today would be considered a fraction of its true value. Ffs look at the energy prices now, people are advocating for the tighter regulation of these former national industries.

greed isn't always good mate. all she served to do was make the rich richer.

mocking her health nah just stating it's karma....did you not read that Buddha was one of my heroes?
