"The film, entitled The Y-Word, has been written and produced by David and Ivor Baddiel
“The film is not intended to censor football fans,” said David. “It’s simply to raise awareness that the y-word is – and has been for many, many years – a race hate word. It’s our belief that some football fans may not even realise this."
David Baddiel :
Jewish Chelsky supporting apologist unt, who constructs a fallacy against Spurs to deflect from the terrible truth about the fans of the club he supports.

You Spurs !!!
If you didn't chant songs with the Y word, then the Chelsky morons wouldn't feel this uncontrollable urge to make gas noises back !!!

Bat
It was used at us years ago (before my time) yet we took it to heart, it's a joke that the society want to warn us about it
Bat that other comment was aimed at Messiah not you
You just happened to message inbetween me wumming him
I am wummed now by bat and his racism
TBH, the reason it is become engrained in the songs is probably not known to fans of a certain age. So tis just a habit now.
But for those like me who were there back in the day when the chants first started up, I will at least honour those who did it (and for the reason why) .
