I'm surprised that Phil didn't see this coming, what with his Nostradamus like predictions.

The two unionist clubs in Scotland.

Don't like paying tax to the Queen.

Hell mend them. They should face the same consequences that the old Rangers did.

Unionist clubs

's like you are part of the problem in Scotland.

Theyre football clubs, nothing more, nothing less.

Coisty, you telling me both clubs aren't 'unionist'?

Do you go to Ibrox and watch football?

Union flags everywhere, union scarves, even union 3 piece suits on occassion.

And both clubs happily wave the flag but don't pay the tax.

Ironic much?

Tim - Agreed. But will they?

And, as the OP said, will there be slanderous blogs, articles and books by bitter and twisted imbeciles dedicated to uncovering what went on at Hearts? Whilst sticking a bigoted boot into the club and their supporters at every turn along the way?

As you've said, a precedent has been set, surely all the same actions will unfold here? If not then old Phil is going to a look every inch the bitter sad act we all know he is

Will be genuinely interesting to see what happens to the Jambos from here. The only way is the 3rd division (if anyone cares enough to Newco them that is).

Papa, I think hearts should be hammered.

Every other club pays their tax. Point deduction if they have with withheld tax, transfer embargo, and if they newco, they should be asking to be voted in, not expecting to be voted in.

If the go bust, scrap relegation this season. It's not the first time it's happened.

Hearts failing to pay tax to the tune of £400k. Rangers cheating for a decade and failing to pay tax in the region of £40m+. Now which is the bigger story I wonder?

I wonder if the SFA will attempt to circumvent their own rule book to save Hearts. In the interest of fairness they really should.

irvine, it's a point of principle surely? surely cheating the hospitals, doctors, schools and nurses out of 10 bob is bad enough let alone £000's?

the rangers story died when the oldco liquidated...what else is there left to pickover? the current story is that of the jam tarts and how if they go the SPL will implode.

oh and yes i think the SFA/ SPL probably will try and help and i wouldn't be surprised if alex salmond waded in either

Irvine - I only murdered one person. But that Harold Shipman is a REAL murderer eh?

Zachs - You've changed your tune, you want all our ex players to die horrible deaths .

As Ivan Drago would say (were he real) - "If they die, they die!"

Christ, imagine following through at a wedding?

Chances of pumping a bridesmaid would take a serious dash. Especially if you were commando in a kilt when you done it

Happened to my mte at a birthday party.

There were a few jack the rippers and everyone was up on their feet clapping as you do and the big man followed through and continued with the clapping while walking backwards still watching the show makinghis way to the toilet to discard the damaged goods.

Both club's are football clubs - i've double checked with Uefa just to reassure you.

Following your warped logic - the tricolour is waved just as much at Celtic Park but I would never describe them as an Irish club.

Would you?

Because that would be ridiculous.

Showing your true colour here

The clubs arent unionist.....many who follow them might be, but the clubs arent unionist.

Its like saying Celtic is a catholic club because many of its followers are catholics.....when it is a club open to all, you know that tim

There's plenty of Rangers fans out there that are not unionists, want indepedence for Scotland and think the royal family are just an expense we shouldnt be paying for anymore....just as there are many Celtic fans out there who dont have an Irish bone in their body or their family, dont follow or have an affinity with Ireland in any way, and arent catholic.

So, RFC could not be described as a unionist club then?

You guys are awfy quick to drop your 'traditions'

Celtic has always been a political symbol in Scotland, let's be honest here. This has been thrust on the club as much as it has been nurtured by the club. Just look at the history, of both clubs. It's always been polarised between left and right.

Any rejection of that is just a complete rejection of reality.

Hammering Hearts Is not the answer because who are the only people who will suffer, the fans. Treat every club like they did with us and very soon there won't be any Scottish football worth bothering about. First thing they should do is declare that bampot Romanof (or what ever his name is) unfit to run a business in Scotland

Celtic is a Scottish club with strong links to Ireland
