Agree with every word you have said, wait every Monday morning to hear DJ has been sacked, cannot believe Mandric is putting up with this it is a worse state than Megson was in when he got rid of him

I did wonder...everytime I posted an article he'd be first there with his drivel

I knew he wouldn't be able to stay away, his life is empty without JA606.

I don't like manager sackings but you've got to look at the start of the season and assess where we were. A club high on confidence, fans getting behind the club, a real sense of optimism, a squad capable of winning, some excellent players that you felt many could make the step up to the championship & with 4-5 astute signings, a club that could be looking at a top half position, most level headed Wednesday fans were saying this (with a number going very OTT about the prem).

I'm struggling to see how DJ has capitalised at all on our start position and wondering what went so wrong that all of the above is quickly being reversed if not gone.

For me it's time for MM to act, what's he waiting for? Perhaps the right man to become available? It's unlike MM to give so much time.

Unfortunately we don't have the players, coaching staff or Management to turn this around IMO. We will be a League 1 side again if the status quo is maintained.

Jones lost it about 6 weeks ago for me - its all become very remenicient of the last days of Laws and Irvine. Chopping and changing the team, changing formations etc..its become a joke.

Whilst a good propect, Barkley was a luxury we could not afford and he has disrupted the side. We are a Championship club, not a charity for up and coming Prem players...glad he has gone TBH.

Dominating matches but losing ends in relegation....Delusion has now set in, witness Jones's last PC aftert the defeat at Forest..hard luck stories, Black Cats, we are a match for anyone etc - all complete drivel and detached from reality. We are fourth from bottom for one reason - we ain't any good!

The only reason DJ is still here is beacaus MM probably can't afford another Manager to go on Gardening Leave and hiring an entire new backroom staff. Can't he justswap DJ for Meggo? Save shelling out anymore cash ...The footy would be dreadful but at least he would get the team organised with a system and build some team spirit...Foundations to success, aspects his successor has eradicated though mediocre signings and woeful tactical decisions.

Its all very frustratiing but it won't last forever. DJ has 4 games left IMO before MM has a big decesion to make: Stick and let DJ spend the Jan kitty, twist, get someone else in and let them spend the money to get things moving.

I know what I would do...lets just hope Adkins has left Southampton by then - the only man I would really want to take charge here. Maybe thats the grand plan

To say bring back Megson and his hoof and long balls in to chase and head towards goal is not good. You guys jump on and off the bandwagon so quick amazes me. You have to have faith, sure DJ has made mistakes, are you perfect? MM has a history of firing managers and he has not done it yet with DJ so he must know something.

Nigel Adkins ... just be patient

I can see both sides of this, I like DJ but when people start talking about luck you have to worry. Luck is for amateurs, professionals work hard to remove luck from the equation.

The prospect of Nigel Adkins is appealing BUT if DJ goes I bet we won't get Adkins, probably some hack Championship manager or Keef Hill, now that would be funny!

Spot on Michael.
I'm just waiting for him to say 'hopefully it will even itself out over the course of the season'

I see that Di Matteo has engineered his exit from Chelsea so he can get a shot at the S6 hot seat.

Darn it, beat me to it Prof

Thanks for the 1 Sparty, only took me an age to write it but thanks all the same

Di Matteo would be a good appointment, took West Brom up and did well with them in the prem before being unfairly sacked, come aboard the HMS MASSIVE, wonder if this mornings news has given MM food for thought now!!

We're as likely to appoint DLT as manager.

Please take him back Hughes, you NEED him!!!

posted on 21/11/12

He's done very very well too, you ask Dave Jones

posted on 21/11/12

Yes, you need that bit of extra quality that being a nearly England player with an Overfinch Range Rover brings.

As for DLT it'll take a lot of brass to prise him away from Heart FM!

Saturday could be Dave Jones last hurrah...if we beat Leicester then he may hang on to his job until the New Year at least...however,another defeat and I may just be on the phone to BBC Radio 5 Live 606 phone in...as usual...it is I who has had the run-ins with Robbie Savage on there over the past year or so...though when I met him at Wimbledon Greyhound Stadium in the summer he conceded Wednesday ARE a massive club..and are indeed bigger than the likes of Barnsley and Doncaster !!

5 stars from me by the way !

Cheers Arkle, at least blondie knows where its at, but rather disapointed that he didnt state that we are MASSIVER than the Pigs, which of course ARE!!!

We ARE sorry

Keep on his case Arkle.

He didn't know where " it was at" to begin with because he said I had been disrespectful to Barnsley and Doncaster when advising him that to be the case...he saw the light..eventually !

In fairness the the Grunters..they have always been a bigger club than tbat pair also...though we remain highere achivers than them with more League Titles,FA Cup wins,a League Cup win,and more appearances in Europe...whilst,of course,Hillsborough was used in the 1966 World Cup and 1996 Euros as well as countless FA Cup Semi-Finals,,,whilst Bramall Lane is associated with cricket first and foremost !

Wednesday were actually the highest Yorkshire team placed 15th in the Sunday Times table based on points accumulated by EVERY club in the highest division of the Football League since its creation way back in the 1870s !
