would not be drawn on whether a vaccine for Covid-19 would be needed for the event to take place
insisted staging the Games behind closed doors was "not what we want", but he needs more time to consider whether that was feasible

Good one.
Sheffield United say Prince Abdullah remains their owner - despite Companies House suggesting otherwise.
Companies House indicated on Thursday that he had ceased to be a person with significant control on 18 October 2019.
Prince Abdullah won a court battle to take over the club from former owner Kevin McCabe on 16 September.
The Saudi owner was listed as a person of significant control a month later, with those filings made public on 20 February.
But the club says Prince Abdullah is still the ultimate owner and they expect the public record to be updated by Companies House in coming days.

"Read my lips: no new taxes" is a phrase spoken by then-American presidential candidate George H. W. Bush at the 1988 Republican National Convention as he accepted the nomination on August 18. Written by speechwriter Peggy Noonan, the line was the most prominent sound bite from the speech. The pledge not to tax the American people further had been a consistent part of Bush's 1988 election platform, and its prominent inclusion in his speech cemented it in the public consciousness. The impact of the election promise was considerable, and many supporters of Bush believe it helped Bush win the 1988 presidential election.
In the 1992 presidential election campaign, Pat Buchanan repeatedly cited the pledge as an example of a broken promise in his unsuccessful challenge to Bush in the Republican primaries. In the general election, Democratic nominee Bill Clinton, running as a moderate, also cited the quotation and questioned Bush's trustworthiness. Bush lost his bid for re-election to Clinton, prompting many to suggest his failure to keep the pledge as a reason for his defeat.

Homeowners struggling financially due to coronavirus will be able to extend their mortgage payment holiday for a further three months, or cut payments.
Mortgage holidays started in March, allowing people to defer payments without affecting their credit rating.
That respite from payments would end for the first applicants in June and the Treasury said the extension would provide certainty for those affected.
However, it said borrowers should still pay their mortgages if they were able.
