Too much hatred on this thread from both set of fans..
Mafia,
Others can speak for themselves, I certainly haven't shown any hatred towards anyone, but commanted on the action of those involved in this incident. The Indian authorities have suspended the guy and apologised. The player has also been discharged from hospital
Probably a good idea to pull the thread and ban half a dozen of the contributors for a week.

From your comments I think that you are relatively new here. You totally refrained from commenting on what was the article all about. But you picked out one thing that I wrote in a general context. But this is the way its written. Its pretty much common sense that whole India wasnt behind that bottle being placed on his breakfast table. But this is why its said that when some people make such stupid acts, it brings bad name to their nation.
I would be very interested in reading your comment when next time any of the Indian fan labels Pakistanis as cheaters just because three of them committed spot fixing.
P.S.
While I really welcome and appreciate your comment that hatred shouldn't be spread but had you got the point of this article you would have got rather appologetic on behalf of that fellow country man of yours, but well I think the attitude of BCCI has started to inflict on the behavior of fans also.

Hi winningways,
Firstly, let me clarify that I am not Indian - I'm Spanish and I have no preference nor link whatsoever to either India or Pakistan, both of whom I generally like to do well in sport and would certainly prefer over England when it comes to cricket.
As I stated in one of my answers to Afridi, my reaction would've been exactly the same had the incident been the opposite and an Indian had posted a similar article in reference to Pakistan.
I didn't refrain from commenting on what the article was about. I actually read the article before posting, something that you seemed not to have done yourself considering that you got some of the basic facts wrong.
Action had already been taken against the person responsible for this most unfortunate incident, and your own cricket board had accepted the explanations given investigation pending.
As I said to Afridi, I would ask you to read this article replacing the term "Indian" for "Pakistani" and tell me whether it still sounds to you like being about a single individual, or whether it appears to use the individual's action as an excuse to launch an attack against your country.
I take it from your previous post that you're a sensible person and will not have a great deal of difficulty in seeing my point.
Rubbish reporting....stoop to anything to sell papers.
Rubbish article....stoop to a low point to ridicule others.

Rabbit,
Welcome to 2013 (almost!), this is the day and age of the internet mate, so not sure how much the papers have made by putting it up on their websites – were you charged for clicking that link and reading the relevant article? No, me neither.
This particular story made cricinfo, and most English newspapers including mail, mirror and telegraph – not just India and Pakistan . Some of you folk really are fickle and easily upset aren’t you – jeeez!! The Indian authorities who organised this tournament have described the incident as “shocking and embarrassing” and I agree. The guy is fine, time to move on.
Rabbit's just getting his digs in first before 2013 starts, and brings with it the inevitable as-per-usual 2 Ashes defeats.
(I might live to regret that statement)

Seems like its very normal for you to have washing liquid in your breakfast. But most of us actually dont consume that in any meal at all, so its sort of a shock to see this gesture towards our gifted team's captain.
Can't spell it out further. You don't find issues with that, I can't help it.

I take your point again that you found me a bit harsh at the content of this article, but it wasn't my intention either to sound like a neutral newscaster. I wasn't actually breaking a news but were showing my disappointment at this incident.
You too sound one very sane poster, it was nice talking.
