Hooper to Norwich?

If it was true and he went to a team like that then it just proves that money talks not ambition.

I remember as a kid dreaming of being a footballer it was all about scoring the winning goal or last ditch tackles, not the cars and houses and gold

The whole Kayal talk was a screen. Hughton knows Big Vic is destined for more so the likely candidate was always going to be Hooper. Charlie Nicholas called it last week.

I think he'll go

Nooooo

We need to get another striker in then?

No we don't. Stokes is better IMO

that makes no sense whatsoever

he could just be going to the PL because its a better league than the SPL, norwich have made him an offer, and he is more or less guaranteed first team football...

ever thought of that.....???

Why is the Pl better than the SPL? Anything to do with the millions that the teams get that they can spend? The bottom team gets more than our entire league.

Jog on

Until you can take your EPL blinkers off there is no point you commenting.

Jesus wept. Talksport, which if memory serves very rarely gets it right says Hooper is off. Now we have Celtic fans talking about Hooper lacking ambition and so on.

FFS lads get a grip and just wait and see what happens.

Hooper attitude has been shocking for nearly a year now. Good player, but if your not willing to put in the effort then good riddance.

I would have taken Hooper at Liverpool anyday.

Surely he would be a massive loss. Look at his goals in Europe/old firms.
Can't believe you all wouldn't mind him going.
When we had jelavic I was petrified we would lose him... Seems kinda silly now right enough

I don't understand this either. Effort? Have you seen the amount of goals he's scored for us over the past year?

he said on talksport that norwich submitted a bid earlier in the week ,
Pete said on Wednesday that he had received no bids thus far for any players

I know who i believe

But for those rubbishing Hooper , really?? You want this guy to do more for the club?

Hes been brilliant ! Look at his performance in Moscow - best player on the pitch and won us that game IMO ! Add to that the goal against spartak at CP - superb finish . Plus all his other here and there goals.
hes scored some real cracking goals but more importantly you expect him to finish given a chance .......those types are very hard to replace

As for stokes being a better player ....please dont make me laugh , Hes nowhere near Hooper in any part of his game

i dont agree with the Hooper doesnt put effort in nonsense

Anybody who say's that is just annoyed at the thought of him going. It would be a major blow to lose him Don't think he will go til the summer though.

We always seem to find a new goalscorer so i'd be confident we could find another. Wish we would have got Adam Le Fondre, he would score plenty up here.

You guys will know better but is he not the best you have had sinceLarsson?
I'm not comparing them... Just can't think of a better striker in between, albeit a couple of good target men but I thought Hooper was better and younger?

Totally get this He was a great player for you Lauders . He had so many perks to his game ...heading, bit of pace , freekicks , strength and a really assured and subtle touch

His play that lead to Foster being sent off for a foul on Naismith in the 2-2 game was brilliant - You need to see that through ball again , its class .
