Forster is Solid keeper, I want him to be brave and come to collect loose balls in the box,. Will collect high balls to.

Puyol will be the dominant defeder and will be asked to be a big character, he will organize the defensive line. He will take the big duties. He will be marking the the striker (if two the main striker)

Lovren is a very good defender and he will mark the other striker if he is on or comes on, he will mark the other striker if not will provide cover.
Both CB’s will show the defenders onto their weaker foot and show them away from goal.

Clyne and Shaw will look to help the two wide men out when attacking but will need to choose their attacks wisely.
When defending they should look to show their wingers into the corner or onto their weaker foot so the cross isnt as good. If they steal the ball I want them to look to create a counter attack quickly.

Gustavo and Cabaye, Gustavo will sit deep and keep an eye on the AM of the opposition He will sit deep and will look to stop opposite playing, when he wins the ball he will look to dispatch it quickly to start an attack.
Cabaye will be used as a box to box midfielder. Cabaye will help to break up the oppositions play but will be the one to push up when we are attacking, he will always look to make himself available to receive a pass to play to others.

Teixiera and Shaqiri are playing as wingers and inside forwards, pass and move all the time try and create openings, they will take on the fullbacks on or indeed cut inside When defending they will look to help the full backs but will also look to make runs when we get possession to recieve the ball and run.

Drilled crosses will be preferred.

Damiao will always look the recieve the ball, he will look to make clever runs into the box when crosses come in to look to tap them in.

Mkhitaryan look to exploit the space that is created and be used to run into the box get on the end of crosses and even support the striker

Subs
If losing 75th min
Drogba > Mkhitaryan – go 4-4-2 put crosses into the box with the two big strikers going for everything.

-------Kevin de Bruyne-------Marco Veratti-----
Lamela-------------------Isco-------------J.Draxler
---------------------Mario Manzukic--------

Subs: Bigirimana, Rabiot, De Sciglio, Marquinhos, Niang

Philipp Lahm -Rampage down the right with his brilliant attacking quality, but track back to prevent runs. Must whip crosses in to the feet of attackers. Must really look to drift inside and try to link up with the RW, to get around the defence.

Dante and Hummels-Must stay strong, win everything in the air, put body on the line, and be a rock in defence. Hummels comes up for corners. Dante goes for shots and quicker players, and is a great passer, so must look to block every shot and pass the ball brilliantly out of defence. Hummels is great in the air so must win every header, and be strong in the tackle. We must make sure we don't give away any fouls in and around the box, keep our hands away from the ball, and not lunge in to tackles

Shmelzer-Do what hes done at Dortmund, defend brilliantly, whilst also coming inside to join up with attack. Look to send in whipping balls into Mandzukic. When space opens up in front of him when Draxler comes inside, Schmelzer must eat up ground as he rushes in to fill the void left over, and temporarily act as a LM, before running back to safety

Marco Veratti and De Bruyne-Veratti more defensive, make himself a strong and physical presence, keeping the ball rolling and shooting from long range. KDB must link up the midfield to attack, and gives us that flair which can control a game. Verratti's an excellent passer of the ball, so must look to play in our forwards, but his role as a DM is to prevent attacks, so will be a guard to the back four and control the game from deep midfield. De Bruyne will be playing box top box, and his great shooting ability along with his newly found drive from midfield will see him make powerful runs at the defence. However, he must not neglect defensive duties, and slip into a dictator role when we need more control in midfield

Erik Lamela-The young star should look to break into the opposition box using a wide range of skills, and use his brilliant feet to jiggle away from tackles. Must link up well with Isco to cause a devastating partnership. His stats for Roma this season shows how good he is, and is still only 20, and the front three behind Mandy is absolutely-fecking-devastating. He thrives off runs past the opposition, and his finishing is top notch, so when he gets the ball in a dangerous are, he must look up and and float one in for Mandy, or skin his man and look to get shots away

Isco-The main player. He will be much better in the centre, and must look to get brilliant sly passes into the feet of Mandzukic. He will look to run up and support Mandi, but also use his fantastic vision to send in through Balls out wide. He has brilliant dribbling skills so will always escape attention of his man and when under pressure can find his way out. His passing is quality, so must spread the play out wide to free space, and play in our forwards, keeping our team ticking in AM

Draxler-Must drift in at all times and use his frightening pace and power to cause the RB problems. Must come in to support Mandzukic, and get his brilliant shots on target. Been crucial for Schalke, and must reproduce the form for us here in this game. His dribbling skills are up there with the best, so must use a wide array of skills to escape his man and look to be dangerous at all times

Mario Mandzukic-The man who has been doing brilliant this season, will play in the ST role. He will look to latch onto any ball, and use his magic to work the ball into an area where it will be the most dangerous. His brilliant runs will tire the opposition, and his finishing can be top class when given the opportunity. Fantastic in the air so will attack all balls in the bax, and unleash deadly shots on targets

SUNDERLAND vs. QPR

---------------------Begovic------------------
Walker----Smalling-----Subotic-----Cole
-------------Wilshere----Martinez-----------
-Marco Reus-------Gotze-----Rodriguez
------------------------Villa--------------------

Subs: Amos, Brown, M.Keane, Vermijl, Powell, Beckham, Austin

Tactics:

General - At home today against a good solid QPR side. We want to bounce back from last week's poor showing against West Ham, and to do so we've rested all our first team players during the Cup game so we're in top condition. At home so we'll have the crowd behind us, and we're going to create a really hostile atmosphere for QPR by attacking early and getting the crowd really up for the match. Quick, direct passing is the aim here, we've got the attacking talent to really take hold of the game, we need to force QPR to mould their team to defend against our strengths, not the other way around. We want to be ahead early, and then the subs can be brought on around the 70th minute mark to really nullify QPR's threats.

GK - Begovic is an absolutely solid keeper. Importantly though he is vocal, and has a brilliant command of his area. He'll ensure the defence is always perfectly positioned and organised in the manner he's known to do. He'll look to get the ball out to feet very quickly. Attack starts from the back!

FB - Cole and Walker are up against two naturally attacking wingers. They'll largely remain back in defence rather than bombing up the wings because with the talent we have in midfield and up front we won't be short of numbers in attack. By remaining in defence they can counter the talent of QPR's wide men.

CB - Smalling and Subotic have to be well versed to deal with Lewandowski, but with Begovic's guidance they should come out on top. Subotic will take the lead because his years of experience with Lewandowski will play into our hands, Subotic will know what Lewandowski's trying to do when on the move.

CM - Wilshere and Martinez bring energy, talent and controlled aggression to the centre of the park. They need to make sure Kagawa doesn't get time to dictate the play. Kagawa's not the fastest, so get to him early and we can stop him playing his deadly through balls. Martinez will take a much more conservative role in this game, rather than driving the ball forward he'll leave that up to Wilshere. Martinez also has another important role, which is to help the left wing deal with Rafael's marauding runs up field.

AM - Reus, Gotze and Rodriguez are the creative epicentre of my team. They're all intricate playmakers who can create anything and everything from nothing. They need to pick the ball up off the back, and make sure it's moving quickly to keep away from QPR's defensive midfielders. If they pass it around quickly and precisely they'll slowly open up the space they crave, which will allow them to do something special. They need to use their movement and vision to cause confusion in QPR's midfield. Rodriguez also has a secondary role which is to track back with Rafael when the young RB gets forward. Rodriguez will be subbed so he'll really put a shift in while he's on.

ST - Villa will begin by playing deeper than usual, closer to Gotze than QPR's CB's. This will help the midfield get a foothold on the game, and swing the momentum and crowd in our favour. After 20 minutes or so, when we have real control and QPR are pinned back he'll move forward. Once there he'll pull the QPR defence all over the place with his clever movement. He only needs a half chance to score really, and whenever he picks up the ball he'll be looking to turn and shoot in one movement. We want to pepper QPR's goal today. This idea of dropping back to regain control of the game can be applied whenever QPR begin to exert any pressure.

Subs:

70 - Austin on for Rodriguez. Gotze to play wider left, Villa through the middle. Then Austin right up top to play the role of the deadly poacher that he is. You can say he's in a crappy league, but his goal return shows he is a brilliant finisher.

76 - Beckham will run up and down the sidelines, looking like he'll come on. He won't. But the crowd will get excited anyway.

Aston Villa team and tactics:

------------------------Buffon-----------------------

Montoya-------Godin------Nastasic-------Kolarov

----------Vertonghen--------Iturraspe-----------------

---------------------------Xavi--------------------------------

Costa--------------------Thiago---------------------Tello

Subs:
Morata, Cuenca, de Marcos, Saviola, Martinez

Today’s game plan:
We plan to keep it as tight as possible at the back and ensure none of Swansea’s creative players get in on goal. Then we plan to use our more creative players on the counter-attack.

Jobs:

Buffon:
He will be big and strong in his one on one's with the opposition players coming into the box. He will be big and strong in the air and will stop any shots going towards him. He'll also need to command his area as well.

Montoya and Kolarov:
Both are to stay back in our half this week. Both are to defend at the back and play the ball forward to our wingers from our on half. Both need to be big and strong in their tackles and need to make sure they're given protection from our wingers. Both also need to tuck in and protect our centre backs from any balls coming into the side of our box.

Godin and Nastasic:
Both are to be big and strong in the air. Both need to be big and strong in their tackles as well. Both also need to follow runners into the box as well, and not let the ball go over the top of them for the opposition players to get on the end of. Both will need to clear the ball from the area as fast as possible and send the ball down field for our attacking players to go on the break. Both need to command our area as well.

Iturraspe and Vertonghen:
Both are to be big and strong in their tackles. Both need to sit back and protect our defence. Both will follow any runners from midfield into the box and will block any shots that are hit from outside the box. Both will also need to head the ball away should the ball go in between our defence and themselves.

Xavi:
He will be our box to box player. Whilst we haven't got the ball his duty today will be to protect Iturraspe and Vertonghen from the opposition players. When we are on the ball we want Xavi to have it, he will use his vision and play the ball out wide or forward. When he plays the ball forward he needs to make sure it falls to our wingers or strikers feet and then break forward and join our attack.

Thiago, Tello and Costa:
All three are to break from deep on the counter-attack. Whilst one of them has the ball the others will break forward and get into the box and get on the end of through balls going into the box. All three can interchange positions throughout the game and with Xavi breaking forward as well all four can get onto the end of things into the box. Whoever, is in the strikers role, the others need to tuck in and help protect our full backs from the opposition’s full-backs and wingers.

At Set pieces:
Godin and Nastasic will go forward and join Thiago and Tello in the box whilst Xavi takes the freekicks and corners with Costa standing on the edge of the box in the centre to wait for balls flying out of the box to have a strike on goal. Whilst all those are up front, Montoya, Kolarov, Iturraspe and Vertonghen will all stay back in our half and stop the opposition from breaking at our goal.
Subs:
If losing/needing a goal:
Cuenca on for Tello (70 mins)
Martinez on for Thiago (70 mins)

Cuenca and Costa will swap wings and play solo as wingers whilst Martinez will be our target man.

Subs if winning:
Morata on for Thiago (80 mins)
De Marcos on for Tello (80 mins)

Set pieces:
Corners: Xavi
Freekicks: Xavi
Pens: Xavi
Captain: Xavi

----------------Schone-------Clasie-------------

---------Maher--------------------Eriksen-------

Narsingh---------------Fischer--------------Boetuis

Subs:
Sigthorrson, Djuricic, Nordtveit, Malanda, Jese

Todays game plan:
We plan to keep the game as tight as possible and hit the opposition on the break.

Krul:
He is to be big and strong in his one-on-one's with the opposition players. He is to be big and strong in the air. He also needs to stop any shots coming on to the goal. He also needs to command his box as well.

de Vrij, Agger and BMI:

All three are to be big and strong in their tackles. All three are to follow runs into the box from the opposition players. Whilst all three need to command the area around them. de Vrij and BMI will need to go out wide to stop crosses from getting into the box. Agger is to win everything in the air and the other two need to clear the ball away. All three need to be commanding.

Schone and Clasie:
These two are to protect the back four from any runners on to our goal. Both need to be big and strong in their tackles and fill in along the back line should our defence become stretched.

Maher and Eriksen:
Whilst both do need to protect our DM's both are needed to convert defence into attacks. Maher has pace to burn and will run with the ball all day long and will play through balls to our front three. Whilst Eriksen will use his vision and spray balls forward or out wide for our more creative players to go and get goals. Both can have shots from out side the box on goal.

Narsingh, Fischer, Boetius:
Narsingh and Boetius are to get the ball into the box from out wide to Fischer who will place the ball into the back of the net. Whilst Fischer needs to keep himself on side.

Set piece:
Freekicks: Eriksen
Corners: Eriksen
Pens: Fischer
Captain: Agger

Zabby-----Miranda-----Alder-----Filipe
----------Khedira----Schweiny
Susaeta----------Bale------------Auby
--------------------Suarez

Subs; McCarthy, Corchia, Williams, Davies, Kehl, Totti, Benteke

Overview
An attacking 4-2-3-1 formation based on retaining possession and using pace and trickery to pressurise the defence.

Keeper
When distributing the ball, he should look to keep it simple and play the percentage pass. At crosses and set pieces, should look to punch rather than attempt any catches with an element of risk.

FBs
Both FB's will look to venture forward in this game, Filipe will look to exploit the space left by Auby, whilst Zabaleta will assist Susaeta to try and make 2-on-1 situation with the opposition full back. When defending, they should look to just track the wingers and aim to keep them on their weaker foot and block any crosses.

Centre Backs
Miranda will compete for the aerial balls, with Alderweireld looking to collect the 2nd ball, when the ball is on the floor, the onus is more on blocks than tackles. Alderweireld is given licence to bring the ball from the back, but will still look to play it simple to Khedira or Schweiny.

DMs
When the opposition have the ball, both our CM's will look to play a pressing game on the opponents CMs, not giving them time on the ball and harassing them into errors. When on the ball Schweiny will keep the side ticking over, looking to recieve the ball in space. and find one of the front 4 who are all looking to get into space. Khedira will just look to cover the back 4 should Schweiny or one of the front 4 lose possession.

AM
Bale will look to drift around the final third looking to use his pace when on the ball to run at the opposition and look to either draw a foul or take on the shot himself. When Suarez comes deeper, he should look to run ahead of him and use his pace to draw a CB with him to give Suarez one less obstacle, and also give Suarez the option of playing Bale the ball to give him a chance at a 1-on-1 with the keeper. When defending, he will look to keep tabs on the opposition playmaker.

Wingers
Susaeta will stay wide and look to work alongside Zabaleta to create 2-on-1s or 2-on-2s who will look to work to give Susy or Zabby the chance to work the ball into the box, looking to play it more along the ground than at head height. Auby will look to drift inside and look to use his pace to get into space between the FB and CB, looking to draw the RB inside to give space for Filipe.

Striker (NO BITING)
He will look to peel off the CBs and look to get into space between the lines of the defence and DMs to pick up the ball and then look to use his close control and trickery (AND NOT HIS GNASHERS) to teake defenders out of the game. When he comes deeper to pick the ball up off Schweiny, both Auby and Bale will be running ahead of him to give him options to pass. When defending, he should look to harass the opposition CBs to try and rush them into making a mistake

Set Pieces

Corners
Bale and Schweiny take inswinging corners. the 2 CB's go into the box, the FB's and Khedira stay back to prevent counters, the CB's, Auby and Suarez attack the ball, the non-taker and Susaeta take positions just outside the box to pick up any weak defensive headers or knockdowns.

Free Kicks - For direct FK's Bale or Suarez will shoot depending on which foot it favours. For Indirect FKs, follow the same directives for Corners

Penalties - Schweiny is the designated taker.

Subs
76 mins

If Winning - Kehl for Auby - slots alongside Khedira, Bale out wide and drifting in.

Drawing/Losing - Benteke for Susaeta - Suarez drifts out wide, Benteke plays the traditional Target man role playing primarily with his back to goal looking ot bring others into the game.

82
If Winning - Williams and Benteke for Auby and Filipe - Zabby goes to LB, Alder to RB. An element of timewasting, but also adds extra height at the back to deal with long balls, with Benteke providing the out ball, looking to hold the ball up and draw fouls to help take pressure off the rest of the team.

If Drawing/Losing Totti for Auby - a bit more experience and craft out wide, will look to use his experience to be a calm make sure we dont panic and make unnecessary errors.

Week 11 - Fulham v STOKE CITY

--------------------Mignolet

Crescenzi-----Varane-----Huth-----Alba

Isla--------------Ganso-------------McClean

------------------Muniane

-----------Jones----------Walters

Subs

Sorensen, Dunn, Wilkinson, Whelan, Delf, Kightly, N'Zonzi

Formation
Changing to a 4-3-1-2 formation for what will be a tricky game away at Fulham. I want to give Muniain the chance to play a free role behind the strikers.

Keeper
When distributing the ball, he should look to short passes to defence or out to the wingers. He should only punt it if no options available. At crosses and set pieces, should look to catch rather than punch.

Defence
Crescenzi and Alba should look after their defensive duties first and foremost, but look to get forward when we are having periods of dominance. Huth will lead the line and Varane will keep close to Huth to reduce the gap through the middle. Varane will use his pace to keep Benteke out of the game and use his ability on the ball to always look for quick outlet to the wings.

Midfield
Ganso, Isla and Mc Clean will play slightly tighter together to allow Muniain a free role behind the strikers. Wingers should help out full backs when necessary, but have been instructed to press the opposition fullbacks to minimise their time on the ball. Ganso has the main responsibility of marshalling the midfield and track any of Fulham's runners from midfield. McClean and Isla should attack Fulham's full-backs and press them back. They should drop back when Crescenzi or Alba overlap.

Strikers
Walters and Jones will play right at the top and rough up Fulham's CB's which will allow Muniane and Ganso to exploit the gaps with forward runs. All three attacking players are instructed to shoot when in sight of goal.

Set Pieces
Corners - Isla and McClean take in swinging corners, the 2 CB's go into the box, Ganso and the full backs stay back to prevent counters, the CB's and Jones attack the ball, the other CMs and wingers take positions just outside the box to pick up any weak defensive headers or knockdowns.

Free Kicks - For direct FK's Muniain and Ganso will shoot depending on which foot it favours. For Indirect FKs, player nearest to position will take.

Penalties - Muniain is the designated taker.

Subs
Keeping this simple. Where possible, subs will be like for like. No subs before 70 mins unless a player is injured.

Aston Villa Vs. SUNDERLAND

---------------------Begovic---------------------
-Walker---Smalling------Subotic------Cole-
--------------Sissoko-----Marinez-------------
--------Reus------Wilshere-----Gotze--------
------------------------Villa-----------------------

Subs: Tremmel, Vermijl, M.Keane, Tunnicliffe, Powell, Beckham, Feruz

Tactics:

General - Away from home against a side that will look to get on the ball and play it around, which is why I've resigned Sissoko and deployed Wilshere further up field. The central midfield trio will hassle Villa and break up their play. Attacking Midfielders to defend fairly narrow to congest the playing area and hurry the opposition, but then to spread apart when on the attack to drag Villa out of position.

GK - Begovic is a commanding keeper, and well known for his organizational skills which will be important with our exceptionally talented, but young, CB's. He needs to distribute the ball quickly to make sure we can attack with pace and catch Villa on the break.

CB - Villa played a midfielder as a striker last game, so if they do that again our CB's mustn't get dragged into the middle of the park when Thiago drops deep. Keep disciplined and listen to Begovic, he can make sure Xavi and Thiago can't hurt us with clever throughballs.

FB - Cole and Walker are to be fairly conservative this game because Villa have some good attacking fullbacks to add to their wingers. Try and force the opposition out to the sides, forcing them to get crosses in which our defence and keeper should sweep up easily against the Villa frontline. Need to be vocal to ensure any overlapping runners are picked up by the CDM on their side.

DM - Martinez and Sissoko are a physical, energetic barrier between our defence and their midfield. They need to be clever in their decision making, if they're going to confront a midfielder, go early before they have time to get the ball under control. If they wait too long the ball can get passed around them. Try and force passes out wide meaning Villa have to cross the ball which doesn't play into their skill set. Wilshere can hassle the deeper lying midfielders if the two DMs choose to stand off. If the ball is coming in from the wings, they must follow any overlapping FB's or wingers to make sure Cole and Walker don't get teamed up on. When attacking they will only go up one at a time meaning we have a defensive shield, and only when we look to be dominating.

AM - Wilshere to use his energy, tenacity and drive to hassle Villa's deeper lying midfielders, breaking up their play before it gets off the ground. He needs to look to spread the game wide once he gets on the ball so Gotze and Reus can escape the Villa DM's. He can also play the ball into Sissoko and Martinez who will use their physical strength to bully the ball up field, in the same manner that Yaya Toure does for City
Gotze and Reus need to be fairly narrow when we're off the ball to make sure Villa's midfield don't have time or space when on the ball. When attacking they will move out further, giving them a better angle to play incisive through balls in to David Villa. With Villa's FB's partial to the odd attack here and there Reus and Gotze will look to exploit any space they leave, forcing the CB's to come out and challenge them, leaving Villa one on one with the remaining CB.

Villa - Will look to drop deep when we don't have the ball to help the AM's harry the Villa CM's. When attacking he'll look to isolate the slower CB so he can latch onto through balls. All going well, he's going to be subbed off so he needn't worry about expending too much energy too early. We need an energetic performance from him today.

Subs -

Winning -

70 - Bring on Ryan Tunnicliffe for David Villa, playing a 4-2-4- formation with Tunnicliffe, being fresh legged, to sit on Xavi (or the most creative midfielder left in Villa's team) and not let them start any attacks. Tunnicliffe is a battler, and isn't afraid to put himself about so will really shackle whoever he's marking.
Wilshere, Gotze and Reus will all look to maintain possession, waiting for the right opportunity to beat Villa's defence. They have the skill to play this system.

Losing/Drawing at 70 - Wilshere swap roles with Sissoko, and Sissoko off for Powell. Powell goes into this game having scored in his last 2, so is well up on form. He also brings a more attacking quality than Sissoko, which should win us the game. Powell musn't be afraid to shoot from distance, which is his major asset, he can beat any keeper with his long range shooting if he gets the chance.

FK - Gotze
PN - Villa
RC - Gotze
LC - Reus

An attacking 4-2-3-1 formation based on retaining possession and using pace, power and trickery to pressurise the defence.

When the ball is played up to Benteke, he should look to run past him to try and take advantage of the aerial battles that Benteke will win or from alittle pass if the ball is on the ground. When defending, he will look to keep tabs on the opposition playmaker.

Wingers
Susaeta will stay wide and look to work alongside Zabaleta to create 2-on-1s or 2-on-2s who will look to work to give Susy or Zabby the chance to work the ball into the box, looking to play it at head height to allow Benteke to use his strengths. Auby will look to drift inside and look to use his pace to get into space between the FB and CB, looking to draw the RB inside to give space for Filipe.

Striker
He will look to stay close to the CBs and look to get up in their faces to really not give them any time to concentrate and get them into dogfights, when the ball is played into the air towards him, both Auby and Bale will be running ahead of him looking to exploit his flickons. When defending, he should look to harass the opposition CBs to try and rush them into making a mistake.

Set Pieces

Corners
Bale and Schweiny take inswinging corners. the 2 CB's go into the box, the FB's and Khedira stay back to prevent counters, the CB's, Auby and Benteke attack the ball, the non-taker and Susaeta take positions just outside the box to pick up any weak defensive headers or knockdowns.

Free Kicks - For direct FK's Bale will shoot. For Indirect FKs, follow the same directives for Corners

Penalties - Schweiny is the designated taker.

Subs
76 mins

If Winning - Kehl for Auby - slots alongside Khedira, Bale out wide and drifting in.

Drawing/Losing - Totti for Susaeta - Totti will look to drift in from the right, with the full backs taking the onus out wide, and the 2 attackers close to feed off Benteke.

82
If Winning - Alderweireld for Filipe - Zabby goes to LB, Alder to RB. An element of timewasting, but also adds extra height at the back to deal with the desperate lumps forward.

Week 12 - STOKE CITY v Wigan

--------------------Mignolet

Crescenzi-----Cameron-----Huth-----Alba

--------------------Ganso

Kightly-----------------------------------McClean

------------------Muniane

-----------Jones----------Walters

Subs

Sorensen, Wilson, Wilkinson, Whelan, Delf, Shotton, N'Zonzi

Formation
Changing to a 4-4-2 DIAMOND formation for what will be a testing home game against Wigan.

Huth will lead the line and Cameron will keep close to Huth to reduce the gap through the middle. Both CB's will always look for quick outlet to the wings.

Midfield
Ganso, Kightly and Mc Clean will play slightly tighter together to allow Muniain a free role behind the strikers. Wingers should help out full backs when necessary, but have been instructed to press the opposition fullbacks to minimise their time on the ball. Ganso has the main responsibility of marshalling the midfield and track any of Wigan's runners from midfield. McClean and Kightly should attack Wigan's full-backs and press them back. They should drop back when Crescenzi or Alba overlap.

Strikers
Walters and Jones will play right at the top and rough up Wigan's CB's which will allow Muniane and McClean to exploit the gaps with forward runs. All three attacking players are instructed to shoot when in sight of goal.

Set Pieces
Corners - Kightly and McClean take in swinging corners, the 2 CB's go into the box, Ganso and the full backs stay back to prevent counters, the CB's and Jones attack the ball, the other CMs and wingers take positions just outside the box to pick up any weak defensive headers or knockdowns.

At 70 mins, only make subs if drawing or losing.
Take off Jones, put Muniain up front and drop N'Zonzi into DM. Ganso will move forward.

We are playing solid side today want to bounce back from our poor recent form. We will be playing attacking, direct football which gets the opposistion on the back foot with our speed of movement, passing and fluid attacks. Jesus and N'Koulou are ball playing defenders and while they will primarily defend (Jesus picking up the main CF, N’Koulou extra runners into the box) they can help us get forward quickly, with Stegen is a more than apt goalkeeper there to instill confidence in our defence. Rafael and Digne are attacking FB’s who will get on the overlap one at a time, and seek to provide impoteous to our attacks whilst they will show their winger onto there weaker foot and stick tight to him in defence. Sandro is our Anchor Man and there to break up the play, shackling their main AM whilst Pogba is a box to box midfielder who will create opportunities by finding those in space with his array of passing skills and will cause trouble with runs from deep. Our wingers are going to look to run hard and fast at there full backs, which are a weakness, and will be looking to whip the ball into, and play off of Lewandowski is a deadly finisher. The Pole will push their defensive line back with his sheer presence in size and pace, and will create space for himself and others with his movement – as Kagawa will do, as he is playing in his most comfortable ‘free’ trequarista role today. The front 4 will link up with one another and bring each other into play with their movement, speed and precision as we look to take the game to them and dominate them from the off. This is a game we can, will win.

80 mins: Di Natale > Lewandowski

Narsingh--------Sigthorsson------Fischer

Subs:
Chalobah, Maher, Jese, Djuricic, Vilhena

Set pieces:
Freekicks: Eriksen
Corners: Narsingh
Pens: Fischer
Captain: Agger do do do.

Game plan:
We plan to keep it as tight as possible and hit the opposition on the counter attack.

Jobs:
Krul:
He is to be big and strong in one-on-one's with the opposition players. He needs to be big and strong in the air and collect things with ease, he also needs to command his area. Krul will easily palm any shot away from the goal when he makes a save.

de Vrij and Robinson:
These two are to sit back and not get forward. Both need to make sure their don't let the opposition get a sniff at getting into the box from out wide and will also need to stop the opposition getting crosses into the box. Both need to be big and strong in their tackles as well. Both need to get the ball forward for our wingers to break onto down the pitch.

Agger and BMI:
Both need to be big and strong in their tackles. Both need to make sure their follow the runs of the opposition's players and stop them from getting into the box. Both need to be big and strong in the air and command the players around them.

Claise and Schone:
Both are to be big and strong in their tackles and help protect the back four. Whilst the opposition piles pressure on either of our full backs these two will need to pull out wide and protect them from attacks. But also their need to protect our centre backs aswell.

Eriksen:
His job is to protect Claise and Schone from any opposition player looking to get past them. Also whilst Claise and Schone might be protecting our full-backs Eriksen will need to fill in and protect our centre backs. But we also need Eriksen to use his vision and play the ball out wide or break with it from midfield himself and join the attack. Eriksen can have a shot on goal.

Narsingh and Fischer:
These two are to break from the half way line with pace after getting the ball off our full-backs and breaking with pace and getting through balls into the box for Sigthorsson to get on the end of or crosses. These two can have a shot on goal.

Sigthorsson:
His job is to get himself in the box and get on the end of anything that comes into the box either in the air or low on the ground.

At set pieces:
Agger and BMI are to join Sigthorsson and Fischer up in the box when we have freekicks or corners. Whilst Eriksen will stay outside the box at corners and get on the end of any ball that comes flying back out, with Narsingh doing the same for freekicks. de Vrij, Robinson, Claise and Schone will stay in our own half to avoid been done on the counter attack.

Subs:

Game plan:
We keep it tight and hit the opposition on the counter attack.

Nastasic, Godin and Vertonghen:
Nastasic and Vertonghen are to follow any opposition running into our box and stop them getting a shot on goal. Whilst Godin's job will be to shield Buffon from any threat if they've got past the other two. All three need to be big and strong in their tackles and in the air. Godin will command both players to follow his instructions whilst he'll also command the players on the pitch in front of him to protect the defence. Whilst one of the three is winning the ball in the air the others need to clear the ball out of the box.

Montoya and Kolarov:
These two are not allowed to pass the half way line. These two need to be big and strong in their tackles. Both also need to stop the opposition from getting into the box and both also need to stop opposition getting crosses from out wide into the box.

Iturraspe and Xavi:
Well Iturraspe is to be big and strong in his tackles and protect our defence. He is also to get the ball to Xavi who will use his vision and pass the ball out wide or forward down the field to our more creative players. Xavi is to help Iturraspe protect our defence from any on running DM’s/AM’s from the opposition. Both need to make it hard for opposition midfields to break into our box too.

Costa, Thiago and Tello:
Costa and Tello are to stick to our wings this week; both are to protect our full backs from any opposition on-running full backs and Wingers. Both need to make it hard for the opposition to get into our box or get crosses into the box. Going on the break these two have fantastic pace and will skin the opposition full-backs with ease and get high/low crosses into the box for Martinez to get on the end of. Thiago is to protect Iturraspe and Xavi from any on running DM/CM’s from the opposition and be another wall in front of our defence. When going on the break he will use his pace and break down the middle of the pitch with pace. Once in and around the final third he can have a shot on goal, or he can slip the ball through for Martinez to get on the end of or send the ball out wide for Costa and Tello to cross the ball into the box and then Thiago can break into the box and get on the end of any crosses.

Martinez:
He is to make himself big and strong in the box and get his head or feet onto every cross that comes into the box. He is also to draw our creative players towards him when going on the attack and playing the ball to them whilst getting himself into the box.

At set pieces:
Godin, Nastasic and Vertonghen are to go forward at set pieces and help Martinez, Tello and Costa with getting on the end of things. Whilst Thiago he is to stay outside the box and get on any knock-downs from outside the box and get the ball either back into the box for our players in the box or to have a shot on goal himself. SUNDERLAND vs. Southampton

---------------------Begovic---------------------
-Walker---Smalling-----Subotic------Cole--
--------------Wilshere--Martinez--------------
-Marco Reus-------Kroos-----Mario Gotze-
------------------------Villa-----------------------

Subs: Tremmel, Vermijl, Brown, Tunnicliffe, Powell, Beckham, Ramirez

Tactics:

General - We have a team full of passers and attacking quality, we'll look to keep hold of possession in attacking areas to force Southampton back. We're at home so we need to get the crowd roaring as soon as possible to really intimidate Southampton's young squad and make them make mistakes.

GK - Begovic needs to use his ability to command and organize defences to ensure our young defenders keep a well trained, organized barrier to Southampton's attack. He'll look to get the ball out quicky, if the CB's are free and in space give it to Smalling who is a brilliant ball playing defender, but only if they're safe, don't risk it if the strikers are close by.

CB - Smalling and Subotic continue a superb partnership together which is bound to go in their favour. They'll have built up an understanding by now which is important for defending. Damiao is a superb poacher, so we'll look to maintain a high line to force him as far away from the goal as possible. With Begovic directing the defence, Southampton should find themselves forced back or offside.

FB - Swansea's wingers are their main danger today, so Walker and Cole have to be at their upmost best to deal with them. Cole has experience and sheer quality on his side in today's battle, whilst Walker carried pace and an attacking threat which should mean Swansea's LW is forced to track Walker back to prevent us overloading Swansea's young, but talented, LB. With Reus and Gotze able to play out wide or drift in our FB's can easily overlap them and swing in crosses if we need a wide outlet for an attack.

CM - Wilshere and Martinez will look to pick up the ball from deep and dictate play from here. With the CB's pushing up, these two will move up with them, maintaining a good distance which means they're always in touch of each other for passes and communication. They need to be looking to play it narrow, or spread it wide to an onrushing FB. Don't go hoofing it forward, we have the talent to play it and move around Southampton, so utilise it.

AM - Reus, Kroos and Gotze are the German trio who will see us dominate this match. Reus and Gotze are not tied to the wings, but they should be aware that Southampton's FB's are young and inexperienced, so don't ignore that route to goal. They're allowed to shoot from distance if they get an option, but don't be ridiculous with it. They need to pass and move, never stay still enough for Southampton's midfield to pick us up. Don't be afraid to play it back to Wilshere and Martinez, they can rebuild an attack quickly, and we keep possession. Look to play Villa in and catch Defender's backpeddling against his runs.

ST - Villa needs to play deep, meaning we dominate the centre, then burst with pace at the CB's, which means when the ball is played behind them he is a) facing the right way unlike the CB's and b) is in full flow, so he won't get caught. This will create plenty of one-on-one's whilst ensuring we retain possession in the centre because whilst he's deep he can deploy his passing and ball retention skills without a defender breathing down his neck.

Subs -

Winning -

60 - Reus and Gotze swap wings, shakes things up a bit for Southampton's defence. Adds a new dimension to our attack.

80 - Martinez drops back into a CB. play 5-4-1 with a very narrow central 4, this will allow us to retain the ball in areas that Southampton can't really snatch it back (i.e. the wings).

Losing/Drawing -

60 - Reus and Gotze swap wings, shakes things up a bit for Southampton's defence. Adds a new dimension to our attack.

70 - Wilshere pushes up, play 4-1-4-1 with Martinez simply playing it easy, not getting forward but ushering the ball up to the attacking 5. This will mean we retain our defensive quality whilst adding to our attacking threat. If we take the lead after this resort to 'Winning' tactics above

FK - Kroos
PN - Kroos
RC - Kroos
LC - Villa

FBs
Both FB's will look to venture forward in this game, Filipe will look to exploit the space left by Auby, whilst Zabaleta will look to use his engine to get up and down for 90 minutes. When defending, they should look to just track the wingers and aim to show them onto their weaker foot.

Centre Backs
Miranda will compete for the aerial balls, with Barzagli looking to collect the 2nd ball, when the ball is on the floor, when the ball is on the floor, Barzagli will be the guy to meet with the striker, and Miranda will be making a covering run. When on the ball, they should look to play it simple to a man in space.

DMs
When the opposition have the ball, both our CM's will look to play a pressing game on the opponents CMs, not giving them time on the ball and harassing them into errors. When defending, he will look to keep tabs on the opposition playmaker.

Wingers
Both wingers will initially start out wide looking to stretch the play, both wingers have the ability to stay wide and put a cross in, or cut inside to try and make space for a shot, so should look to pick out which is the best option at the time. when they cut inside, both full backs will be getting forward to keep stretching the width of the defensive line and providing the wide option.

Striker
He will look to peel off the CBs and look to get into space between the lines of the defence and DMs to pick up the ball and then look to use his close control and trickery to take defenders out of the game. When he comes deeper to pick the ball up off Schweiny, the other 3 attackers will be running ahead of him to give him options to pass. When defending, he should look to harass the opposition CBs to try and pressure them into making a mistake.

If Drawing/Losing

Benteke for Auby - go to 4-4-2, Benteke goes upfront and Bale LW, the 3 attackers look to feed off Bentekes knockdowns and we keep them close to him with the full backs putting the crosses in.

---------Ilkay Gundogan-------Marco Veratti-----

---------------------Mario Manzukic--------

Subs: Muriel, Martinez, De Sciglio, Marquinhos, Niang

Marco Veratti and Gundogan-Veratti more defensive, make himself a strong and physical presence, keeping the ball rolling and shooting from long range. Gundogan must link up the midfield to attack, and gives us that flair which can control a game. Verratti's an excellent passer of the ball, so must look to play in our forwards, but his role as a DM is to prevent attacks, so will be a guard to the back four and control the game from deep midfield. Gundogan will be playing box top box, and his great shooting ability along with his newly found drive from midfield will see him make powerful runs at the defence.

Formation
Changing to a 4-4-2 DIAMOND formation for what will be a testing away game against West Ham.

Ganso has the main responsibility of marshalling the midfield and track any of WHU's runners from midfield. McClean and Kightly should attack WHU's full-backs and press them back. They should drop back when Crescenzi or Alba overlap.

Strikers
Walters and Jones will play right at the top and rough up WHU's CB's which will allow Muniane and McClean to exploit the gaps with forward runs.

At 70 mins, only make subs if drawing or losing.
Take off Jones, put Muniain up front and drop N'Zonzi into DM. Ganso will move forward.
