Qatar having a World Cup is a joke.
Boiling hot and a lot of South Americans and Europeans dying for a drink and I think they have strong rules on alcohol, don't they?

They probably would be able to promise their new stadia to be built in time, qatar got the WC all by proposed stadiums pretty much, that was more of if the tournament was held in 2014, it could possibly be done.
-------------
Yeah I know that bud
Just wanted to make sure the same rules apply now they are going all across Europe.
There you go again. Why don't the deserve a tournament for once and why cant people for a short amount of time abide by their rules as people have to abide by ours when they come here?

They don't need to be ready but can the afford to build a stadium for possibly just one match?
-------------
I think some would probably consider extending the national stadium TOOR
No real clue in all honesty though
As for spreading this around Europe, it is a logistics nightmare as very few countries for instance will have flights to remote regions & if they do they will be infrequent.
==============
What games will be played in remote parts of countries???? We are talking about the best stadium, probably the national stadium.
Let's just wait and see where the host cities are. Rememeber, the world cup and euros are both there to not only cater to the countries that are already into football, but also to take it to areas where it has not been before.
Sometimes, I think we forget how blessed we are to see some of the players we do in the flesh. You only need to look at the overseas viewing figures to see how popular it is in some of these countries, lets give them and kids over there the chance to see some of these players.

Homosexuals have no place at a football tournament anyway...
TOORS.................................I think Henrik's argument re the drink is wrong too. He is wrong anyway, you can get alcohol in Qatar in certain hotels you will be served.
The only reason I was against them having it was their current human rights (or lack of it) which is quite atrocious really.
They bring in tens of thousands of Asian workers & pay them literally peanuts, accommodate them in appalling conditions without air conditioning & make them work 16 hour days.
Maybe football and the wealth that it brings to countries and the fact that they have to improve conditions to hold the competition can improve human rights.
Or maybe the money will go to the rich, the same as all the rest of the money is these rich countries...
Well Macca that's one rule. If we're talking about a multi-city competition you could be allowed to do something in one country but not another and vice versa.
Aren't they playing the Qatar world cup in winter now?? Whatever they do it's going to be a nightmare for clubs, the season and supporters!
I'm just calling it as it is, I'd much rather have went to Germany or Spain for a World Cup than Qatar and I see problems when the tournament comes about. I'd have loved to have gone to Brazil, but looks like Trapattoni is going to kill that dream.

They're usually employed through Asian agencies and it's those who exploit them.
I'd much rather experience other countries and cultures and would take great satisfaction that more people would get interested in football and more people would be helped by the money the games would bring.
Should the 64 CL also go through there is gonna be a lot of games played throughout Europe for the top players throughout the season, adding the Euros into this and whatever elaborate way to qualifying will be introduced and it seems the emphasis on national league football is being ignored completely by UEFA
Asian workers are exploited in the UK too.
Well I'd rather go to cities who enjoy the sport and have all the infrastructure in place to ensure that if I am spending my money I am going to have a good time.
Because you're selfish and ignorant.
Because I'm honest.
I don't think I'm selfish because I'd rather go to Germany than Qatar, it is the honest truth and nine out of ten football fans would do likewise.
The Irish were spoilt in the last Euros, minimal travelling and all the buget airlines fly to Gdansk. Karma will decree that they play in Moldova, Uzbekistan and Greenland in 2020.
Don't worry about TooR, he is one of these know-it-all do-gooders who goes to a country, is treated well and thinks that country can do no wrong, while England is a hell hole.
I'd rather go somewhere I've never been before and see a different culture and type of football fan. That's not to say I prefer Tue multi-city idea because I don't.
