Great article. Best poster on the SPurs board and seems like the only one with a bit of sense and without the Chelsea, I want it now approach.

Hi Squid, we all get excited in the transfer window and i think most people just want us to spend a little not 50 million, we have come so far your right but we cant afford to stand still and let it all be for nothing

I back levy but he does drive me mad with his fake bids and pretences, im happy if the money is for a new stadium as thats the most important issue right now but we need dates etc of when it starts, been going on for yrs now

We have a great squad in general and not far away from being a top team but i dont agree that we always have to compare to when we were rubbish and as if we are lucky to be 4th or 5th and are over achieving

why cant we compare to the early 80s and want those days back where we won things

The good thing about Levy is that he has kept our club financially stable for many years. He has also dipped money in the pot for good players at a good price, none of us can ever knock him for that. He's managed to get us the likes of Berbatov, Modric, VDV and even Holtby, when other big clubs have also been scouting the same player. So hats off to him for being a stable Chairman

I think the fans would of been happy with any striker, just someone to mix it up a bit and add some depth.

Squid - Levy is a gret Chairman and worked wonders for us as a Club however much we trust his judgement all the so called Soccer experts were saying that signing a striker was a priority which would have outlined our intent to get 4th spot or higher !!

i was listening to talk sport about 1am last night and some IDIOT spurs fans called up talking about how much money spurs have got and levy just doesnt spend it.

i think the term he used was "weve got loads of cash"

TBH I'm not having a full100% pop because I do understand the passion that as Spurs fans we all have , just asking everybody to live in the real world and understand how much this guy has done , as for fake bids I dont know where this comes from ?? Inter reported that we bid 15 or 16m for LD but they wont sell himuntil the summer
