Wetherby,

Why wouldn't Robins come to Town? - He's from Ashton under Lyne only a good 10 miles away and he has already managed a couple of Yorkshire clubs in Rotherham & Barnsley.

Coming to Town would also be a promotion for him, since he's currently only operating at league One level and don't forget, Coventry have massive problems themselves and are facing the possibility of insolvency and their plight was recently epitomised by a statement from the Sky Blue Trust. It simply said "What is to become of our Club"

So if Robins was to be offered the Town job, I reckon he'd move like "sh-t off a shovel"

He also fits the bill regarding the type of manager Hoyle would be looking for.

Cheers Wakey and you too Hydy and what tremendously satisfying news that is, does he still post anywhere then or as he, like many others, simply settled for twitter tweetings or whatever.

I thought Amelia was your (preferred site) mod ? & surely she's still in situ ? I had heard Lord Snooty had lost his real life job and again (just catching up really) always felt he was Amelias partner in some way and indeed that they ran a printers SO has she just fired him or what ~ OR have I as DickEmery used to say .. Fink Av Got It Wong again Dad .. ?

Who says there are no jobs going ? Appens Lord Snoots should apply for Town Manager ..

You do read what we write then, I knew you missed us really.

No Mr Ossett doesn't post anymore, he got a new job as well which means he doesn't get to as many games as he would like.

You make your Coventry story very eloquently Mirf, and do you know something....... Me & you agree for once. Robins for me!

As Mark Robins might say Wakey - One does like to keep abreast of the situation, get it .. Oh God even I think thats bad, Mitzi would me for that tenuous one.

He won't come, Cov City may be a League below us(how long for who knows) but in every other aspect they are a cut above.

Coventry have a very impressive hi-tech stadium, which contains all sorts fancy stuff like a theatre. They have had a recent financial blip which lead their demise into L1...
But it looks like they on their way back up again thanks to Robins....
So why on earth should he come to a team who look to all intents like they are on their way down, while they are definitely on their way up.....

We will end up with the likes of Dickov or Westley...
2 managers who have had success on a shoe-string.....Deano will be looking in his wallet and will shut it straight away before anything drops out....

posted on 5/2/13

I'm starting to think Deano has done exactly the same as he did this time last year.

I believe Lee Clark was sacked because he thought Warnock would come.

I now think he thought Adkins would come after regretting not getting him years earlier and thought we could jump in there before he was snappped up elsewhere. Turns out he's not that interested.

There has to some reasoning behing his bizarre timing of sacking all his managers.

Miff, Murf says Coventry have MASSIVE F Problems and potentially are on the verge of insolvency.. Who's right .. ?

Where's Berkshire when we need him .. ?

The real answer to that question or connundrum could be the key that unlocks the next Town managers door where the Empty Chair awaits .. Hey, Is it a Shackletons .. ?

Boots...From what I have seen, they haven't got a great amount of spare cash at the moment, due to having a lot of players on Championship wages, but only have League one attendances....
They also pay a massive amount of rent for their superb stadium. These 2 reasons have given them a cash flow problem.
I hear they are trying to re-negotiate the ground rent with the landlord, which they will eventually get what they want, cos who is the landlord going to get to rent the ground if Coventry don't...

Player wages will eventually level out as they realize they are not going into the prem any time soon....

The fans will return once the results filter thru to the local population......

Population of Coventry = 309,000
Population of Huddersfield = 146,000

The odds are against us beating most Championship clubs to the best managers at the moment, unless Deano digs deep into the Rhodes fund....

Crunchy custard...

“Mitzi - Uncle D & I so badly miss...”

Speak for yourself!

As I recently explained... currently I have my hands full with the titillative Tatiana Turnova, who is after all, a gymnast from Georgia... know whatahmean, wink, wink, nudge, nudge, say no more. A nod's as good as a wink to a blind bat… eh, squire!

I have been told tonight from somone in the no it's going to be dickov , it fits as well , think about it will ya , ,cheap to hire wont want money to spend , as he will just be happy to have any old job .

Uncle D ~ I think you do Miss Mitzi .. a lot .. in fact I feel Tatiana Turnova from Turkey is but a mere substitute or something like a proffesional 'situte' anyway for the times which you clearly harken back to when Mitzi was about .. didn't you used to use a germanic wrestling term when a Dressing her .. ?

I think its time to drop your maschinating fascinations for Titania Rollover from Andover and turn your best attentions to winning the affections back of wor Mitzi who i gather when tipsy is not short of dishing out the titzy .. This obviously assumes Wakey doesn't suffer from a sudden hissy fit of tourettes and tells the pair of us to f o

For Creme Brulee's benefit

Coventry's rent is about £1m a year (not that much more than Town are paying). Only thing is they haven't paid any since April. The landlord (which I think is owned by the council) are considering dropping this to £400k but are insisting they come to some arrangement to clear the back rent - the club are refusing to consider that.

It seems that there are a lot of entrenched positions and the club are considering relocating to defunct Rushden's ground. They won't get 31k there - not that they will next week after tonight's loss.

As Myth points out who else can the landlord rent the ground to? They do have the ability to force the club into insolvency though which is likely to scupper their promotion push.

Hey pud…

The tantalizing temptress Tatiana is from Georgia…

Well the Ukraine girls really knock me out.
They leave the West behind.
And Moscow girls make me sing and shout
And Georgia's always on my, my, my, my, my, my, my mind.

Took a while for the penny to drop uncle dilution but the vid did it .. ta.

Thanks for that Berk's, it does add lustre to the cluster ~ as well as grist to the mill for Controversial Coventry Conspiracy Contributors because with all that uncertainty were I to be their manager I might well entertain looking at a club a little closer to home (10 Miles says Mirf) who would certainly guarantee me 3 years financial security .. Sacking or no sacking ..

Makes one wonder .. well there's little else we can all do just now, clearly we are In Limbo tho thats a bit better than being In Capable

Of course everyone knows where we all really are .. In Suspense!!!
