Brazil couldnt even be bothered to play tonight. It was like a cup final for England. Welbeck needs to find another career.

Are England still in the top 3?
They probably moved up to 1st after tonight.
I said yesterday that Brazil aren't all that.
Ramires is so average.
Yep. He's got stamina. That's about it.
Lol you really dont seem to rate a lot of your players, do you Mr Chelsea?
Mr C
He's not very good though, Samir.
Oscar looked really good
England got lucky he shot over with a completely free crack and Neymar somehow couldn;t put in his cross on a platinum platter that left Smalling for dead
But they were the laziest side I've ever seen
Happy to run on an attack but not bothered to help out anywhere else.
As bad as they were, they could (should) have scored more which takes the shine off today;s win. I didn't find it that impressive or even deserved.
Darren
He's good at tackling, he's quick, has a decent shot and is very athletic. Okay so he won't be world class, but he's a good player to have in your squad and provides a lot of energy.
The Brazilian league is just commencing. The players aren't operating at their full technical and physical level.
I disagree, he's just got loads of energy without much talent. He's the Brazilian Henderson.
Gerrard for me also
Gerrard receives a lot of criticism for a perceived deficiency in technique compared to other great midfielders of his time like Pirlo and Xavi, but to be honest, I'd argue that Gerrard's technique (in terms of passing, striking, and even tackling) is near-perfect; what lets him down is his tactical awareness.
We've seen Gerrard provide some absolutely breathtaking passes and assists over the course of his career, but too often I feel he has been guilty of trying to force the 'Hollywood ball' when a more tactically aware player (like the aforesaid Xavi or Pirlo) would have simply recycled possession until a better opportunity presented itself.
Similarly, I don't feel Gerrard's positioning or movement on the field is as good as it could have been, and I feel that it's his natural proclivity to drive forward which is why Benitez moved him away from central midfield to play either down the flanks or off of the strikers (the latter being where I believe he was one of the best players in the world). Having said this, he does seem to be adapting to a deeper-lying role at the moment.
Lampard himself is fantastic technically, although I feel Gerrard slightly edges it in this respect (as well as having better athleticism). However, what has and will continue to allow Lampard to age so gracefully is his footballing intelligence; he has great vision, awareness, and movement around the field.
I think Lampard will prove to withstand the tests of time better than Gerrard, due to his intelligence and less reliance on athleticism.
However, for me, Gerrard has always edged the infamous Gerrard-Lampard debates.
He's the Brazilian Henderson.

we'll have to disagree there, i think he's an effective and useful player to have.
Fair enough. I've never seen the fuss around him. Extremely average player in my opinion. I also don't think Chelsea know what kind of midfielder he is.
He's not a dm/destroyer, nor a creative attacking or deep lying playmaker, nor a box to box player that offers a lot in defence and attack. And he's a terrible winger.
Can't believe they spent £18m on him. Chelsea could do and need much better, in my opinion.
Henderson has skill and talent in spades. Bags of it. His problem is he tends to put them in his handbag during the match.
If he had b@lls, he'd be a fantastic player.
If my Hendo had b@lls, he'd be my uncle.

Henderson is probably most technically (static) skilled player at Liverpool. Embarrassed everyone he's competed against including Ox.

Gerrard cos he's my favourite player outside Arsenal ever. I love his playing style such a leader.
Anyone who thinks Ramires is average obviously didn't watch the champions league final second leg between Chelsea and barca.
