Everton's remaining fixtures are ridiculously difficult, they just won't finish top 4.

They've still got to go away to Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs

Upstart, we need results to go our way now, I really don't get why you want a draw because United aren't our rivals and they are most likely going to win the league this season, but we need them to dock points off the teams closest to us. The more points Everton drop now, the better it is for us.

Would you rather be 2 points ahead of Everton or 1 point?

"Looking increasingly likely that Utd will either win the title at the Emirates or win it the week before and get a fackin guard of honour...;fack me."

Considering the likelihood of the former, I would consider a guard of honour a relief.

Kamran, we have Everton at the Emirates, United away, Newcastle away, Swansea away and we may be affected by the Champions League and FA Cup matches.

Also we have to play some relegation threatened sides who tend to raise their game around this time of the season.

We're not a shoe-in for 4th at all.

Samir - It's Utd at home, but still it's a guaranteed defeat

posted on 10/2/13

We've got Utd at home Samir. I know we're not guaranteed for 4th, but out of our rivals for 3rd and 4th, we've got the easiest fixtures and we've been in pretty decent form of late. I think we'll get top 4, if we don't get it, it Spurs will. I don't think Everton will ever get close tbh.

I really don't think we will finish 4th this season. I don't see us catching Spurs tbh, our only hope is if Chelsea and/or City continue to falter.

Exactly. Thats another reason why we need United to take points off Everton, because we will probably lose to United as well.

The NLD is crucial though. If we lose that, I can't see us getting 4th. Hell, I'm not even sure if a draw would be enough.

Spurs still have Liverpool away, Man City at hope, Chelsea away, Stoke away, us at home, Everton at home. Their fixtures aren't easy.

On paper we may have the easier fixtures, but that doesn't mean we will get the results we need.

Since the start of the year, we've taken 11 points out of a possible 21. That's not great.

Spurs are dominating all their games, they look very solid and give their opponents fúck all chance to score, so even when they are not playing well, which they haven't been for a while, they never look like losing and have the quality up front to nick them a win.

When we are not playing well, we always look vulnerable and capable of dropping points and losing matches.

Honestly I think we will finish 5th. If Spurs don't get 4th and end up capitulating, they are the biggest bottle jobs in Europe.

Heitinga was good last season, he was voted Everton's Player of the Season, but this year, he has been dreadful.

Hopefully Distin is not fit when we play them.

I'm surprised a thuggish team like Everton have two tiny centre backs playing.
