Agreed about Xhaka though. Just because fans are happy to see him trying again, doesn't mean they want him staying long term.

ways of the world m8. they also happen to be the best in the world. players dream to get super agents. thats when they know they have made it.

It's not about the fans liking him, it's about Arteta liking him. He's publicly admitted that he wanted Xhaka at City and convinced him to stay in January.

I don't think it's safe to assume he will leave in the Summer.

I don't assume he'll be sold. Just saying that just because fans are more supportive of him since he upped his performances (under Arteta, Pete) doesn't mean people want him to stay.

Samir. Don't confuse need for like or dislike. Arteta is a very traditional manager in that respect. Left sided players on the left side, and right sided players on the right. We have one thing going for us in midfield and thats wheel defence. Saka/Kols attacking like wingers and then tucking in. Eventually he will do that on the right as well. For that we need a left sided CM to cover advanced full backs. and torreira on the right to cover bellerin.

Which was my point on Xhaka. There is a lot of goodwill but that can change very quickly unless we translate that to results and better performances.

Why don't you post his stats as Arsenal manager this season then too, great m8?

I don't think its anything to do with money Lex. I think they are on similar wages. There has to be a point when ppl realise that Everton actually have better players especially in CM.
