D. Regarding A. we simply don’t have time now to get a new manager in, as well as any players he would want, whilst trying to get the players we don’t want anymore out of the club before the window closes
----------------------------------------------------------------------

That makes no sense.

Tuchel had less time to improve the team. And we have just started the season.

We still have 2 weeks before the transfer window closes. Thats more than enough time for any new man to assess the team and bring in one or two. Even if that means loan signings.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Tuchel

You know that Tuchel doesnt buy players firstly.

You know that Chelsea operate differently to KSE? They dont care about money in the first place. They wanted Lukaku, they got him. Of course they wanted to sell Abraham but not in the first place. If Roma or someone else havent bought Abraham for that money, Lukaku would still be at Chelsea.

Arsenal first had to sell Joe to Newcastle allthough the player didnt want to be sold.

You see the difference?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Tbh, think you wrongly have Chelsea down as a club that just throws money around. Actually quite recently they are very astute in their buying and selling. They sold Hazard for a ridiculous price and used that cash to build strong. The Lukaku buy is their only major purchase of the season (?) so CL cash used wisely.

Say what you want but clubs like Chelsea and City have excellent structures in place. But most importantly the right people in those jobs.

‘ So you can't say it will take 8 weeks again or not.’

Of course it’s all guesswork. However, what ever happens I’m going to assume that by mid October we’ll either have Arteta or no one in charge of the side.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yeah. Or as Serial says, Mertesacker.

Arteta's inability to qualify for Europe has severly effected our buying. We could have purchased players before selling because we could offset it against European cash. Now we can't. Unfortunately, now we must sell before buying. Willock has generated £20m so I'd expect us to go back in the market.

Bruno G hooked at HT for Lyon. Poor performance.

I don't think money is they issue Serial. Obviously KSE knew that Arsenal weren't in Europe when they bandied about the £150m figure.

I think they underestimated Arsenal and specifically Arteta's pulling power.

For example I honestly think there was a chance to get Tammy till he saw what happened against Brentford. No player wants to come into a situation where the manager is so poor that they have a serious chance of damaging their reputation.

Nah, I don't buy that a player looks at a manager and thinks, no thank you. Arteta is a dead man walking anyway. It's only a matter of months before he is out, unless he turns it around. Probably why Willock wanted another loan.

Tammy would have had wanted a decent wage (βœ…), plenty of play time (if Laca was sold on βœ…) and a reasonable chance of trophies (βœ…).

I think Arsenal just aren't interested, thus he moved on.

Oh come on.....You know how their structure is over the years ffs. After their ban Lampard bought for 250M straight away.

But they have Peter Bosz on their bench who is miles better than Arteta.

They sold Hazard for £130m. Had other notable sales. Then went a season without spending because of a transfer ban. If you look into their finances it's actually fairly sound.

I think you're basing your assumptions on RA early years when he spunked cash wherever he could.

Where is the £150m warchest? And if we have that why havent we spend it yet?

posted on 15/8/21

The financial power of Chelsea, United and City is something we can never achieve. But our spending isn't insignificant. It's pretty much on Liverpool and Spurs level. We're just very poor at player identification and extremely poor at selling

One game and Ben White has gone from one of the best CBs in England to someone who can't head the ball. I really don't think any player wants to be in a situation where the crowd is going to turn against the team to send a message that they are not happy with the manager. Xhaka saw this coming and if Roma had promised him the wages he was being offered at Arsenal he would have gone as well.

Sounds like we're asking for Ødegaard on loan with the option to buy at £30m. Good deal, tbh.

Bad news, this Ramsdale rumour isn't going away.

Think you’re overthinking it, J99. KSE realise there is a big problem at Arsenal, and think the quickest solution is to spend our way out of it.

Even if they’re starting to have doubts about Arteta, it’s clear they don’t have a back up plan.

Yes I do and if you think that PSG, City, Chelsea operate otherwise you are naive.

It's all about money.

Even Jürgen Klopp doubt how they operate and rightly so. As long as KSE dont give up on their sustainable model we will decline.

Yes it can be done otherwise, Leicester is showing it and if you look at Germany Bayern Munich are the exception. In case of Leceister they also have a suggar daddy who started to invest. Yes they had good people at the club as well and did the right things but dont come up and tell me fairy stories about clubs like City and Chelsea ffs.

Spending your way out only makes sense if the players you can attract can dig you out of the hole. At this point which player can come in and literally change the dynamic when the manager is floundering?
