We aren’t signing him anyway but don’t see what the fuss about him is. Never scored 20 league goals in a season, never scored for Dortmund, has a 1 in 3 scoring ratio for Sociedad, only 4 league goals this season. Hardly seems worth the €90m buyout clause we’d probably have to pay

Also seen people on here complaining about the link to Douglas Luiz. After Xhaka we don’t have anyone in the squad who can play the holding role effectively. Luiz is better than Xhaka and much younger with room for improvement. Would 100% take him. Any signing who can potentially limit Xhaka’s game time should be seen as a positive.
