City have signed Alverez.

So the highlight of today is the facking Auba drama

Remember the Colombian lad we had on loan a bunch of summers ago? At least I think he was Columbian. Played well in a preseason friendly versus Chelsea. Or Man City. Maybe. Young guy. Looked decent. Think he was an Alvarez too. Maybe. We couldn’t get a work permit for him, I think.

As you can see, I’ve got the facts locked down.

Wonder what happened to him.

Anyway, we ended up signing Xhaka. So...

Really baffled with this window.

The board clearly don't care whether we get cl football or not

All depends how realistic they felt the Vlahovic bid was, I guess.

They have done their work. Liverpool have done their work.

Arsenal in contrast....they really dont know what they want. Buffling stuff.

It still would have asked a lot of a 22 year old striker to hit the ground running. Arsenal are building for the long term. It only remains to be seen if they think Arteta is the right man for the job this summer.

If we were after him how long does it take us to realise that this target isnt realistic. Amateurish. No realistic plan B in place. Again.

‘A new twist in the script’, Barcelona have informed the Barcelona Hospital that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will arrive for his medical. [

Laporta personally stepped in so there is a good chance it goes through.

This window has shown that Arteta will not be held accountable when we don't get cl football

The board will settle for 6th or 7th place finish

posted on 31/1/22

Maybe Auba given up on his demands.

posted on 31/1/22

What makes you think that? It could be that they decided Arteta was given £150m last summer and want a bit more assurance that he can make progress without spending another £150m and be no closer.

Tbh if we keep this squad and he gets top 4 it would be a minor miracle

I'm all for having a small squad you can trust when you're only in one competition, but if you have a small squad but can't truly rely on Laca, Nketiah, Pepe, Xhaka, Elneny, Sambi, Cedric, etc it's just asking for trouble

posted on 31/1/22

But we are signing fack all

No chance of top 4 with the squad we have.

It's a very average squad which relies heavily on youngsters

But if Arsenal plan not to play Auba anymore it does make sense to move him on. Can't have the discussion about him everytime in the media anymore

Auba to Barca almost done.

Barcelona president Joan Laporta on Aubameyang: “It seems that we will pull it off [Aubameyang deal]. Ousmane Dembélé? Various solutions have been proposed, the last one depends on whether the player accepts it, it is to go to an English club”, he told Mundo Deportivo”.
