Marquinhos reminds me a bit of Obafemi Martins

Wasn't too fussed about the rest of Spurs' business but assuming they know more about the Bissouma investigation than the average person, this will be a great signing for them. Anything that takes Winks further away from the first team is a blow for us.

And people who said that Spurs can't invest because they have to pay up their stadium are obviously wrong.

Some teams get their targets in early. We should do the same when the season preparations beginning. Have absolute no hope of it though.

Yeah, still think they've gotta be smart about it but so far they seem to have been. Obviously risk involved with the likes of Perisic & Spence, but they could turn out to be great deals

Spurs signings shouldn’t be of any concern to us. We will not be competing with them next season. Our only (slim) hope of getting into the CL is winning the Europey

"Conte being demanding of signings will be his downfall at Spurs."

"Arteta and his stability needed"

I mean, if they did bad business or Levy cheaped out again, we might have been competing with them.

Hearing reports that Elneny signing a new contract extension has doubled the cULtuRe at the club. Arteta has done it again

Arsenal's transfer windows are so depressive.

Tbh I think Jesus would be better than any business Spurs have done yet and Tielemans would be at least as good a signing for us as Bissouma is for them, so not all doom and gloom.

I dont know why people are so excited about the signing of Jesus.

He’s average as hell.

I still don't want him as the only option, but he's good quality, knows the league, versatile, knows Arteta, the right age, a good price.

He doesn’t score enough goals. Doesn’t hold the ball up. Isn’t physically imposing. Goes hiding in games. You could ignore all that if he had electric pace that could scare defenders but he’s not even that quick

Well I can't pretend to have watched every game of his but more often than not when I've watched him, he seemed like a player that would be a useful asset to most sides in the league.

He hardly scored goals in a team like City or let's say not enough. That's why they bought Haaland.

Why do people think he will score more for Arsenal?

Would honestly rather bring back Giroud than sign Jesus.

Well I simply think he'd play more, probably more as a CF too. I also think his play style would create more openings for others.

Jesus has one more year to go at City as far as I know. Paying 50M for him if the rumours are right is a facking joke.

but we need a reliable goalscorer TBag. Jesus isnt the one in my view.

He’s reliable when you are 4-0 up and cruising.

Yeah goes hiding when things not going our way.

He wouldn't be my number one choice, but if we got him for 30mish gbp along with another striker I'd be happy

If we just got him I'd be a bit underwhelmed
