Look his agent wouldn't be doing his job if he wasn't trying to find someone to pay him £90k or £100k (what was reported in the papers) before he accepts whatever we are offering.

I think Eddie knows that whoever we sign will be getting paid far more and so likely to be first choice.

Which is why I've thought for a while that the reports its done are probably not true. Obviously we now know that Eddie wants to stay so its a negotiation. And that always has lots of sticking points like clauses, bonus payments, release clauses etc.

I dont blame him or his agent to get money out from Arsenal. No problem from my side but why does it take to long to commit his future he suppose to love.
