End of Holding, I'd say

€30M+ is a lot of money for a back up LB. Would be surprised if he only plays there for us.

Why would we sell Holding? Seems happy enough with his role in the squad, only signed a new contract 1 year ago, isn’t on big wages and he’s homegrown.

We can't let our season slip again when key players are out injured. We need adaquat replacements.

We should get a decent fee for Saliba now that he’s a French international. 2 years left on his contract, unsettled, would attract attention of Europe’s big boys. We’ve probably budgeted in his future sale to our transfer budget.

Arteta said he wants Saliba to stay. Think he'll be the rotation for White.

I initially thought he'd challenge Gabriel, but doesn't look likely with this new guy we're bidding for. He really wants his LCB to be left footed.

But let him rot on our bench without signing a new contract would bring the fee down.

We also need Saka and Gabriel Mangalhaes signing new contracts as well.

Arsenal are keen to press on Raphinha, Gabriel Jesus and Lisandro Martinez.

Saliba is younger, better, homegrown, on lower wages currently. Only time will tell how he feels about being at Arsenal.
