He corrected his claim now after other outlets saying interest cooled down.

Despite Sky Sports reporter Rob Dorsett insisting Arsenal's interest has 'cooled' and it has become more likely he will sign a one-year extension at City, journalist Fabrizio Romano has revealed what Tielemans' stance is.

"Been told Youri Tielemans is not considering to sign a contract extension with Leicester now - could be an option in September in case he doesn't leave, but not now," the reliable transfer expert tweeted.

It would be silly to sign on for another year at Lesta if his tendency is to leave the club next year on a free.
