Like I said last night, we "cooled interest" on ramsdale last summer. Just a negotiating tactic me thinks.

Tbh, I'm not that bothered about tielemans. Im sure we can get better, but his PL experience and last year of his deal seem to be the main factors.

Lisandro is 5ft 9in. Though you can get away with that if you have Cannavaro type talent I don't think you can do the same job in the premier league.

He is left footed and if the idea is to mainly play Pep football but at times have the ability to have a 2 man midfield he would balance Partey (right side).

Watched s compilation of Lisandro's passing this morning, seems to be exactly what arteta wants. Switches it over 50 yards effortlessly.

Essentially in formation one (pep) you have to press and both Eddie and Jesus are press strikers. That also means keeping the full backs to cover midfield and defence. Tomi and Lisandro would be ideal full backs!

When Arteta switches to second formation (wenger) we would need a RVP or Giroud (RVP lite) type player to hold up the ball. explains Osimhen, Scamacca ? etc. links. Here the full backs have to be attacking and I assume that would be Tierney and Cedric?

Crazy to think it's 10 years now since Van Persie left Arsenal.

We need at least 2 CMs and 2 strikers. Since when have we ever gone out and bought what we need? I would be pretty surprised if we sign Tielemens after buying this Vieira guy. And I’d be even more surprised if we sign another striker after Jesus.

Van persie broke my bloody heart. On my deathbed, the last thing I will think of is that him and fabregas never played together much. The football would've been incredible.

Assuming Arteta sticks with Pep formation as his main tactics I think we don't need a big man to be all singing or dancing type. A cheaper willing to accept his role on the bench would do. Like Kanu.

Tbh would have been easier just to sign a Osimhen and not need a secondary player but if it is Jesus would leave a hole.

Jesus and Nketiah have very similar profiles as strikers and have similar builds/frames.

Ideally, we'd have more variety in attack. The ideal situation would be to get Jesus as the quick, pacy forward with an eye for goal and get a more physically-imposing, athletic forward who is good in the air e.g. like an Osimhen or someone like that.
