You can't replace a player like Salah

Arguably the best winger the prem has ever seen.

They would have to bring Darwin in to start, Diaz, Jota and Gakpo backing up. Not that bad tbf.

Jota is crap unless playing us and Gakpoo is trash

But maybe not players who can be consistent enough to get them into top 4.

And that's worth £100m+ just in real terms.

Darwin is bantz

I think he isnt as bad as people make out, Pete.

Okay he isnt a reliable goalscorer yet but this can be worked on with more playing time. And if they get 100M for Salah they have money available or a striker.

And who is out there who can score 20+ Premier League goals guaranteed? Osimhen will cost €175m in today's market!

Salah is just a tap in merchant who has been shown up since Mane left.

What if Salah is unhappy being forced to stay?

Rumours on twitter saying that Mo Salah wouldnt force a move.

Being reported, they want to make the highest paid in Saudi (more than Ronnie). It is a lot of money to turn down at 31.

He already earns a lot at Liverpool. No way is he leaving this window.

Brooke Norton-Cuffy to Millwall on loan for the season.

Probably the correct decision for his development, but with Timber injured, I did wonder whether we might be tempted to keep him around until January at least.

Think Reuell is ahead of him, and he probably stands little chance of game time under Arteta tbh.

Salah in Saudi would make him a literal king, more so than if Messi had went there, and would over take Ronaldo in terms of popularity due to being an Arab. A very difficult offer to turn down tho he’s too good to retire just yet.

Salah is probably not like some European star like Kane or Lewandowski beholden to the traditions and history of the sport and his legacy in it. He's achieved everything there is to achieve in the European game and at this point in his career, it could be appealing for him, an Egyptian guy, to play in Saudi Arabia and get a 9-figure contract and wine and dine with the House of Saud. Given his hijabi wife always appears to be wrapped in upholstery, they're probably a deeply conservative family that would be at home in Saudi Arabia.

🚨 Real Sociedad close to agreement with Arsenal to sign Kieran Tierney on loan. No buy option but #AFC get fee + full wages paid. If all goes to plan left-back will travel for medical over weekend. 26yo wanted #Sociedad (regular games + CL) @TheAthleticFC

Apparently Sociedad‘s highest earner (currently) is on something like €69k a week. Tierney is on almost double that.

Hardly surprising there’s no obligation to buy. This loan is just about hoping he has a good season, and hopefully being able to sell him next summer instead.

🚨Accord Arsenal / Monaco pour le transfert de Folarin Balogun 🇺🇸💫

🔹Indemnité d’environ 45M€ bonus compris

🔹Contrat de 5 ans

🔹Encore quelques détails à régler pour finaliser l’opération. Toutes les parties sont confiantes

So their first offer was €40m. I suppose it's better than selling to another Premier League club.
