Obviously depends on the asking price. I prefer Ruiz as well because he is more versatile. But we don't know who Arteta prefers.

yeah, they were really good. Everyone seems to know how to play the Arteta way, I'm not sure what Man Utd were doing, I still can't figure out a style.

Heaven did well although he got rinsed by Hojiland, but he did well after.

Hein's long ball distribution was A1 this game, but he was also at fault for the goal.

Nichols was a surprise one, I didn't notice him but a lot of people were saying he did really well too.

Awful scenes, the French have lost the plot completely. Refuse to watch the olympics because of their silliness

I think he's a sensible signing albeit not a 'fancy' one. He reminds me of a more mobile version of Xhaka. He's a good duel winner, retains possession well and can play defence-splitting passes from deep.

With Nwaneri also coming through, I do wonder if he's a short-term signing so that we eventually blood through Nwaneri into the first team over the next couple years. Wouldn't surprise me if he's a squad player in a few years.

Watched a bit of Olympics stuff last night - a feat in itself, as the missus doesn't usually watch any sport.

Women's fencing was okay. The men's fencing was terrible. What a ridiculous waste of everyones time that is.

Highlight's of the diving... borderline scandalous marking of the Chinese divers, compared to the Yanks. The Aussies though
