Ukraine tactic in the first leg was to isolate Ribery and kick the shiiit out him. It worked because the guy thought he was our "Messi" and tried to keep the ball for himself.
Yesterday, however he played more as the team. And since Ukraine still was focus on him, that left spaces for other to run into

Shevchenko should never have retired. They needed his magic yesterday.

Best game they played since 2006. If (really big IF) they play and fight like this in each game, then they might have a chance to reach the last 8 in Brazil. But IMO, very unlikely
The press are happy, really good display but also the way the players celebrate after the game shown that they do actually care.

Like it or not but our countries are pretty similar. A win yesterday and England would have become favorite to win the WC.

Mert is so, so underrated. I think he's better than Kos.

Lex I think I agree there. Mert is just brilliant.

I think Löw is saying this about Gnabry to motivate the guy and see what he has to offer till end of season. Talent wise he really has potential but there are other youngsters playing more than him ATM. Would be good to see him go to brazil.

I genuinely think Per's been the best centre-back in the league this season. So consistent.
