He said something racial which was offensive but that doesn't make it racism.

it does in my book and many others,
I was been ironic in answer to your post.
You call me a moron but you call Rooney a fat granny sh@gger vile person (on the United board too). How grown up and clever you are. Really showing your intellect there.
You are nothing but a peasant.
And what are you redblack a lord or something?

Is there anything wrong with what I said? He's done all this things.
Here the Liverpool fans are again defending the indefensible.
You have to feel sorry for them having to go to ever more desperate lengths to justify their hero's actions.. one or two of them occasionally can look at unbiased and admit to themselves what he is but the majority of them just stick their head in the sand time and time again.
errr no.... I'm not a Lord
Hang on Arab read the past few posts we've all said we know Luis does some things on the pitch he shouldn't yet you all just love to p1ss and moan about him and fans of your club have been posting articles as consistently as Luis has been scoring goals.
Even that mauler above tries to use hillsborough as some tool to score points against Luis, obsessed doesn't even cover it

Hang on red don't get all high and mighty bringing kids
into this why did you even mention hisslborough in the first place? This is the first time I've ever heard the game referred to as the hillsborough memorial game and I was at that match. You then say Suarez has no class for supposedly defining injury, call it a hillsborough memorial game and then claim not to be trying to score points? Why even mention hillsborough when you simply could have said a game v united.
---------------------------
Are you serious?
i was welling up before that game
Hillsborough still haunts me to this day
When I first heared about the verdict I literally punched the air in delight
I then spent the day on the Liverpool Board arguing with people who were still trying to blame the Liverpool fans
yeah but the fans were pushing at the back
yeah there were too many drunks without tickets trying to get in
That's all I heared so i explained that yeah ok, maybe there were a few drunken fans pushing at the back, what was so unusual about that.
What was wrong is that the area they were letting them push into was too small. they had no plan. they fekked up and it cost football fans their lives. And they tried to blame you.
The truth is now out in the open
So please, don't try and tell me I have some kind of point scoring agenda just because i think Suarez disrespected an occassion
so he has he sh'gged grandmothers?.... do you mean a grandmother or are you calling any random woman woman over 40?
So what if he did? havn't you?
You posting sentimental statements makes no difference explain why you firstly referred to it as the hillsborough memorial game (first person to ever refer to it as such) and secondly why you immediately follow that with saying Suarez has no class?
Yes kneerash, Macca was making a hillsborough crack because he is a United fan, SAF is the devil and at fault for all the worlds ills and Suarez is clearly the most well behaved footballer the premier league has ever had.
I didn't say that because it would be incorrectly. He said something racial that was offensive but that does not make a person a racist.
It's this sort of misunderstanding and trivialisation of racism that hinders the racism issue.
----------------------------------
Totally agree
Oh, your post fail, I've made bigger messes myself
'm a terrible typist and somemes I read my posts and wonder if I actually seak English
Arab grow up a bit here, I've said nothing of the sort, by you attempting to be funny saying I have just proves my points.
I've said above both LFC and Luis Suarez have done wrong but this obsession with Suarez in the past few days especially is simply down to the fact that he's better then any player in the PL and he plays for Liverpool. Also try to explain Maccas comments I'm referring to then.
Avoiding the question Macca, trying to poke a bit of fun at yourself to avoid the elephant in the room?
Arab, you're a decent poster so hopefully we can have a reasonable debate.
We aren't defending the indefensible. There are many liverpool fans who don't like the diving, the little digs at players, but the faux indignation and faux outrage on this site is cringeworthy. Calling him a vile human being is ridiculous when we know that Suarez is a good man of the pitch, so why should we not stand up for him. He has made mistakes, the biting, the racial issue, but the handballs, the diving, the stamping, we've seen it all before. I see it week in week out in many games but Suarez has become a pantomime villain that everyone picks on. It's actually quite pathetic behaviour.
I can name you 3 people who are worse for their on the field and off the field shenanigans, Barton, Terry and Rooney, the latter two treated as English Lions, heroes, role models. They don't get the same treatment as Suarez. Why is that?
And on top if that football is tribal. We will defend one of our own. It's that simple.
I've said above both LFC and Luis Suarez have done wrong but this obsession with Suarez in the past few days especially is simply down to the fact that he's better then any player in the PL and he plays for Liverpool.
................................................
How about the tens of pages of comments on SAF over the last day or two?
Purely because he is the best around and manager of Manchester United.
Surely you would agree?
i dont defend United players that dive
Arab
Macca was clearly using Hillsborough to point score, his latest bluster about how it affects him doesn't wash with me. There was absolutely no reason to refer to the game in question as some sort of tribute/memorial for Hillsborough. The only reason he referred to it in such a way was (as Kneerash explained earlier) so that he could then explain why Suarez has no class/taste. It is possibly one of the most distasteful things I have read for a while and shows how low people will stoop in order to bash Suarez.
Your comments about it don't help, jokingly trying to just palm it off as some sort of pro-Suarez/anti-United agenda by Liverpool fans. It was classless and should be seen as such, not just sugar-coated and joked about!

Filter me then, because that is exactly what I am accusing you of...
There is no need to refer to the game in such a way, it doesn't even make sense what you are calling it.
--------------------------
You say you was at the game but it wasn't a Hillsborough memorial game?
Pretty sure Sir Bobby thought it was
Are you denying this just because I can't stand Suarez?
Anyway, to me, and I'm sure many others, the families of the 96 had something to celebrate that day. And it has been a long long time coming
I really don't get why you state it wasn't a memorial game just to defend Suarez.
Everything about that day was about the 96 for me
Hahaha, the elephant in the room, haven't heard that saying for ages!
Macca is now in trying to dig himself out of his self-dug hole by being all pally and sentimental, t*sser!
The liverpool fans were up in arms in another thread about SAF not shaking Rafa's hand and comparing it to Suarez/Evra's non-handhsake. When Arab tried to explain that the situations aren't the same, he and other United fans were accused of defending SAF no matter what.
Liverpool fans being hypocritial here with defending Suarez then. Getting up in arms and accuse others of hypocracy and then go all out and do it themselves over Suarez.
There was absolutely no reason to refer to the game in question as some sort of tribute/memorial for Hillsborough

but it was and it was well promoted as that. Even Fergie wrote letters to all the United fans attending warning them of their behaviour. There was a well orchestrated floral ceremony on the pitch before the game involving Charlton. I cant think a better way of describing that particular game between Liv and United.
You are point scoring by suggesting otherwise
Arab, you're a decent poster so hopefully we can have a reasonable debate.
...............................
Sorry I was in unreasonable mode to make a point, it has been somewhat made so I will resort back to what I actually think now.
Firstly Suarez is nowhere near as big a villain as he is made out to be. Neither is SAF.
I was shocked to hear that they did a special montage just for Suarez showing the bad things he did, I am sure there are a fair few players who could have looked just as bad should they have done a montage for them. United got their own montage one year when we won the premiership, showing all the wrong decisions that went our way. Only time it is ever happened, never before or never since.
Everything he does is huge huge news so he does the slightest thing wrong and everyone knows about it, it becomes a talking point and generates discussion which mean people are much more likely to remember it. Whenever United get a decision wrongly given in their favour it is bigger news, generates discussion.
What I am trying to say is on one hand I sympathise and understand what you are going through. On the other hand I am desperate to lay the boot in now and again because you guys (Liverpool fans in general being some of the worst for it) have never missed to the chance to get us with any of these sticks and beat us...
That isn't to say it is you personally FJM but you get my point.
Kneerash, macca is actually a decent poster. I don't think he referred to that game as the hillsborough memorial game to have a sly dig at Suarez.
Can't speak for my fellow LFC fans poppin but I've not remarked once on SAF not shaking Rafa's hand, which personally I feel is the individuals choice. Suarez should have shook Evra's hand before that game for the sake of LFC not for himself but for the club
