That striker scored!!!

posted on 16/3/13

Yeah he did but how many times have we given the ball away or missed half chances.

I'm wondering of the players want to play for Pearson anymore.

Just lost.... Do you really think they are going sack him now?

posted on 16/3/13

In a word - i believe that they will get rid of Pearson, bringing in Mark Hughes.

I really do.
There's a 2 week break now and it'd be ideal for a new manager to get time with the players.

I wanted Pearson to succeed but I think enough is enough.

If any of us weren't performing at work we'd be sacked.

"If any of us weren't performing at work we'd be sacked."

Are you a manager at work spoonfox?

Ideal time for a new manager, wake up!!!

Terrible performance, and on Sky for all to see. I don't know where their heads are but they weren't on the game. They looked half a second behind the play all match.

But even with that, I maintain it would be wrong to fire the manager now. (Although the owners may well do so.) The reason is the same: A different manager is unlikely to fix things and the move at this point would probably screw up next season.

...Although I understand anyone shouting for Pearson's head after that, and I suspect you will.

Not Hughes! Please no!

I'd be happy with any of the following...
Nigel Adkins
Owen Coyle
Roberts Di Matteo
Alan Curbishley
Avram Grant
David O'Leary
Mike Phelan
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
And even Roy Keane just till the end of the season!

Maybe you should put your hand in your pocket and buy the club, then you can choose who you want and tell us all to do one!

Screw up the season?!!!!!.. How often do new managers come in and have a 6 match upsurge??!!! It will get us where we need to be! Yes, Spoony. You are right. Two wkd helps. NP has has more than enough time. Useless!

Err look at what Billy Davies has done at Forest!
There's my point!

Kasper "They wanted it more than we did"!
What the hell?!

Get Pearson out now! We haven't performed like a promotion chasing team all season and he clearly can't motivate his players!

At least Kasper says it how it is, not like Mr Petulant Pearson.

Flippant. Blasé. Aloof..........guess who that was on sky tv just now? Get him out!
"Poor performance"..... should be.....poor selection and formation.
Oh he's smiling! Means a lot to him by the looks of it. Not. Still smiling. Wow. Tomorrows another day he says. How many tomorrows does he need? Get him out. All staff need to be positive?.......if the cap fits NP then wear it!
One of my Bulldogs has got more personality. Then again, my dog doesn't get paid £1mill a year! Absolute joke! A disgrace. Had enough of this. I may as well support Crawley Town down here! Or even Tonbridge Angels.
I say it again.....Mr Thai....get rid!

Spoon, what is it with some of these people? Or are we both watching through frosted windows?

posted on 16/3/13

Did i see David O'Dreary, Spoonfox?
Now you wouldnt want that!
Bit of advices for the owners, hold your nerve and stick with Pearson - Get in the play offs, hope you get first leg away from home and then get to the final - the rests a lottery. Good luck.
Be nice to rekindle the Villa/Leicester rivalry!

Two ends of the moron fan society we have in abundance, those that think we should run away with the league and those who want to sack everyone when we lose a game!

posted on 16/3/13

I agree that this was a poor performance and it's looking likely that we are going to blow the playoffs. But I can't agree about Pearson's post match interview, I'm not a massive Pearson fan but to give him his due it was by far his best interview. It was honest, frank and say it as it was interview, no excuses and over protecting the players, he answered all the questions put to him without being his usual arrogant self

A game?.....singular?!?

Agreed, old fox. This was the first proper interview he's given in an age. Partly because he had nowhere to hide: this was arrant rubbish.

Never mentioned running away with the league but weren't we 2nd and looking good only to sling it away?

I just see things how they are and definitely am not satisfied with the league position.

If your happy with this then, that's your prerogative.
Wouldn't go as far as calling you a moron mate.

posted on 16/3/13

I didn't call you a moron unless of course you put yourself in one of the two catagories I mentioned!

Yes I am satisfied with the position, not so much with thw way we are playing and some of Pearson's decisions but then I've never agreed with some of his decisions even when he won promotion at the first attempt and got us into the play offs at the first attempt, I still believe he'll get us into the play offs this year, that I'm satisfied with if he does it, sfter that it's a lottery as we all know.

Should he go if we don't make it into the playoffs, I'm tempted to yes he should but then we don't know the limitations placed on him after the previous disastrous administration, the owners may well be satisfied with the way he's truned the club around in such a short time.
