Yeh after taking the guys knee out.

Feck off, he got the ball. He also got half the players ligaments ripped off.

Nearly choked on my sandwich when I heard he got away with it.

And John Carver got charged, for confronting Mcmanaman! You couldn't make it up!

Shawcross went for the ball. It was an accident.

Whelan really is a crank sometimes. Sure you always want to protect your club and it's image, but his comments have been nothing short of ridiculous!

As for the FA? Well, it's nice to see that the chimps tea party is still in full flow!

Didn't the referee see the incident and deal with it?

If a match official seen it then they cannot go back and change their judgement. They can only take action for incidents that were missed by match officials.

Dave Whelan performance was absolutely pathetic. I under he had to protect the image of the club, but he came across as a . An insensitive .

Seriously, the next opponent of Wigan, one player should just touch the ball, but break their players knee joint. See what he thinks next.

....

Exactly, it's the rules that need changing. The F.A were correct on this one, under the rules.

Henrik's

===================

Exactly. I had the same debate about when Rio was shown clapping the ref at the end of the RM match. If the ref claims he didnt see that - he's finished.

And we cant bend the rules for isolated incidents, otherwise the FA will have 100's of videos to re-ref every Monday morning.

Everyone move on.

Henrik

I'm sure they can over rule if its a serious case like this, a player has been injured by a wreck less banned tackle. Your studs should never be that far off the ground.

Eowyn - You are lovely. But this time Wrong.

They cannot change the rules for isolated incidents, the integrity of the competition means that the rules are the same for everyone and cannot be changed in special cases.

I stand corrected

they can change the rules for isolated incidents actually, see the ben thathcer on pedro medes challenge, he was booked during the game, but was later given a 10 game ban due to its severity
