I'm not English and I hate Rooney, but real football fans appreciate quality. Rooney is easily one of the top 3 strikers on the planet, he's arguably the best.

It'd make more sense if the OP compared Pato to the clown that is Hernandez. Now Pato would win that hands down.

You're right, I was being extra harsh on him to prove my point. Pato is a good young player but he isn't half the player Rooney is. He never will be.

Are you on a wind up? Ibra goes missing in big games and he only performs when he feels like it. Villa is on a similar level to him. Higuain is nowhere near as good as him. I've just told you about Pato. Torres, like Villa, is on a similar level to him and Suarez has only ever scored 4 Premier League goals. He's not even one of the top 5 strikers in the Prem.

Rooney has been the best player at the best team in the world (possibly ever), so he is klearly better. Surely will go down as the best ever if he has another season like last season.
