To be fair you stated your opinion, chronic completely disagreed with it. You asked him his opinion, he shared it and you completely disagreed with it.

For what it's worth I haven't seen enough of rose to know if he's at the level we need so I can't say if he's in real contention, I haven't seen any of fryers so can't comment on him, and there has been loads of spurs fans on here saying they want BAE out

There was a moment in the 2nd half where a Newcastle player looked like running clean through. Rose found a tremendous burst of speed and outmuscled him. Brilliant defending.

I fully expect Rose to be our first choice left back next season - I think BAE is deemed to much of a disruptive influence and his laid back attitude doesn't fit with AVB's thinking (BAE possibly be sold for a tidy profit?)

Hopefully the loan spells of Rose and Townsend will work out in the way that Walker and maybe Caulker did as a long term benefit to Spurs.
