Yes this is a well known fact - well done anything else we need to know? Yes we have failed so miserably, in the CL for what the last how many years and always got past the 1st round and often to the semis and quarters, damn that is terrible. Could be worse, you could not be in the champions league and hoping to finish in the top 10 this season.

I love scouse history lessons, it only stretches back to the 70s and 80s and ends in 2006. Great reading and makes me chuckle.

The fact that 35m can be paid for a young player like Anfy Carroll for example is directly attributable to the crazy fee Chelsea offered for a sulky traitor with a gammy hammy. Chelsea do have a lot to answer for in regard to inflated player prices.
