I wanted to be there as well on my birthday at the seaside but no tickets left for season ticket holders because members are deemed more important so instead I'll be at work replacing a clutch with the match on the radio.

I see that it's raining in Derby which may just be enough to save DCCC c Notts1
227 for 8 ........... 48 or something ahead for Derbys......
Will Hughes to start................Coutts out (injured)
Derby County: Legzdins; Brayford, Keogh, Buxton, Forsyth; Ward, Hughes, Hendrick, Bryson; Sammon, Martin.
Subs: Deeney, Bennett, Davies, Roberts, Jacobs, Freeman, Doyle.
I read in the paper ward (hamstring) and bryson (groin) are "playing through the pain barrier". What's the point? Nothing to play for so rest them and give some of the fringe players a run out.
Clough wanted to show improvement this year and we can still finish above 12th so I think this is why he has fielded his strongest 11.

I saw that! Also read that Keogh one of only two players in the Championship to have played every minute of every game so far.
Rameses, the "improvement" is negligable if there even is any, so why, after having the poor blokes play in pain for however many weeks, does he not just say "thanks for your efforts lads, you've earnt the rest, go and get yourselves healed up"? Its a great opportunity to let jacobs/bennet/davies have some game time, the result is moot, but no, stubborn clough continues to overlook his squad to fit in his favourites.
Bucko has been playing through the pain barrier most of the season
Greetings from Dublin city centre! Sat in a Starbucks waiting for the game. Is an away win against the seasiders too much to hope for?Nah!
Afternoon Moj. Some great memories of Dublin.
Had a great time here Heb. Went to see Michael Schenker play nr temple bar on Monday, heading home to Spain tomorrow. Lets hope Sammon scores today as I send him some Irish vibes!
tricky one. rest the players and finish lower in the table and everyone complains weve had a worse season. play them and "its pointless".
it is possible he asked them if they wanted to play....
personally i think we should be playing the fringe players and if it goes all pete then stick the broken players on.
whatever, iv reached a point of ambivalence re clough and just want to see us win the last 2 matches.
is that too much to ask?
666 live from Blackpool: I'm cold.
Play the best team, go for two wins. If we finish higher than last season it will grow squad confidence going into next year.
Bryson and Ward have been carrying knocks for weeks so today will be no different.
Bryson is due an op on his groin in the summer which will most likely mean he'll miss the start of next season anyway.
So go for it.
Nobody's sitting down, I've rushed 6 pints and 2 shots and could do with a lie-down.
Nigel, give us a wave? Wave goodbye; I can get on board with that.
