PATHETIC. Grow a pair and write something sensible:that is if you know or can think of anything sensible to say or write other than the total nonsense that you distribute like confetti on these boards.

Of the Lescott money how much was reinvested?

A, all of it?

B, less than that?

(just open to Crispy this one)

Also..

Tim Howard is

A, a good goalie?

My word Crispy copying and pasting your own comments now! Next you will be referring to yourself in the third person as bluefred sometimes does.

Because a black v white situation is what we have at the club right now isn't it.

Pointless and agenda driven post, which is attempting to polarise opinions.

A real vote? Ok, I'll vote:

"Do you trust the current owner(s) of Everton FC?"

1. YES
2. NO

Difficult here because no, I don't trust them entirely, but at the same time, I know they're not going to sell us out to any old bunch. Could they have made better decisions in the past yes, of course they could have, but that doesn't mean they've deliberately put the club in this situation. Poor management decisionsdoesn't mean they're all crooks as you suggest. So your two option YES/NO vote deliberately narrows the options.

"On the issue of the ownership of Everton FC, which of the following best describes your position?"

1. I would like to see the board replaced with an interim body charged with finding funds for the manager and new owners

2. I'm confident that the current board will deliver the correct solution to Everton's problems

My vote = Neither. Replacing the board is definitely NOT the way ahead. What if it takes years to find new suitable owners with a temporary interim board in place? Would they have decision making rights, and if so, where would that stop? Isn't there a risk that if the interim board can't find a quick sale, that the pressure could force them into selling to the wrong people? What makes you think an interim board could find fund for the manager? Who would this interim board be? Is there a prospective interim board waiting in the wings? Is this interim board in waiting prepared to divulge how they would go about finding these new funds? It's all too vague a suggestion and far riskier than the current situation.

It would definitely help to bring in a Martin Broughton-esque figure, but this is also a mammoth task. Any new owners should want a new stadium, new players etc and will know they’ll have to spend tens and hundreds of millions. With the FIFA financial Fair Play rules coming in we’d have to match that spend with revenue, or we wouldn’t be allowed to play in the money pit of Europe competitions – assuming we qualified. Not a particularly appetising deal for prospective investors.

We’re all after the same thing here, but we definitely have different opinions of how it should be done. I’m realistic and can see the bigger picture, whilst I believe you will not be happy unless this board, specifically BK, is booted out at all costs.

Yes, the board’s communication is terrible, we deserve to know what they’re planning. Hopefully The Blue Union will force more communication from them. But that's also why I suggested The Blue Union organise themselves better, perhaps with the help of their own website. Maybe they could provide suggested answers to the questions they keep putting to the board?

Or maybe I'm being unreasonable to expect communication from the group/s?

I can't wait for Crispys reasoned rebuttal

Kenwright out! Perchance?

I don't expect them to read it all, far too many paragraphs. No doubt they'll just pick out a typo or call me an apologist for not choosing a yes or no.

The worst spin doctors since Two Princes.

an interim body to replace the current board. Have to have something a bit more concrete than that, like maybe a few names!

"My vote = Neither"

Absolutely. Nasty habit KEIOC have of using spin to get predictable answers to loaded questions. No-one with reasonable understanding of the goings on at the club would vote that the board were to be trusted. Running the poll again with a third 'Neither' option might be more instructive....but that wouldn't give the vindication that the poll was intended to provide!.
----------------------------------------------------
Firstly who said KEIOC were running the poll Really where does it say that ??????????????

Secondly you say and I quote you

" No-one with reasonable understanding of the goings on at the club would vote that the board were to be trusted."

Then why the hell are you quibbling why not just vote NO???

You say yourself they are not to be trusted so why do you want a third option ???

Are you SteveToffeeJones or something ???

Why am I not surprised you come back with something like this? Can you not see why I asked those questions?

What if it takes years to find new suitable owners with a temporary interim board in place?

Would they have decision making rights, and if so, where would that stop?

Isn't there a risk that if the interim board can't find a quick sale, that the pressure could force them into selling to the wrong people?

What makes you think an interim board could find fund for the manager?

Who would this interim board be?

Is there a prospective interim board waiting in the wings?

Is this interim board in waiting prepared to divulge how they would go about finding these new funds?

Finally - who is going to invest knowing that:
Any new owners should want a new stadium, new players etc and will know they’ll have to spend tens and hundreds of millions. With the FIFA financial Fair Play rules coming in we’d have to match that spend with revenue, or we wouldn’t be allowed to play in the money pit of Europe competitions – assuming we qualified.

Sorry for repeating myself above, but it's almost unbelievable how blinkered you're are if you haven't thought this all through.

95%+ of all Evertonians have no involvement in any anti-board pressure group and wish said groups would not say they have the backing of the majority of Everton fans.

that was what you said earlier but never mind you've achieved your aim of sending this thread off on a KEIOC tangent by accusing them of using loaded questions even though you now say they were only quoting the results.Do you work for the club ???

Burger,

Take the blinkers off.
Were do i mention an INTERIM board.

My point is you and several of our colleagues on here
deflect from having new owners by pointing out Blackburn,Villa etc.
Be careful we might get the Big Bad Wolf.
