No hard feelings from me DJ
Was thinking the same thing Halfy, hope he is paying attention, the state is getting a hammering, this school situation looks real bad, 75 kids inside and only one report of a kid and a teacher coming out, though it is early days.......... we seemed to dodge a bullet here in Kansas to be honest, some serious storms but very few tornadic ones.
I sat up on the dam in Lawrence to watch the storm come across the lake last night, incredible sight and then hairy once it hit the car, thankfully no big hail.
Update....some kids did/have got out.
Sounds like at least 25 kids dead just at the school
And Joplin is under the hammer too, still not rebuilt from last time
"Anyone heard from Simon ?......looks pretty bad out there !!!!"
I've checked with the Met. Office and Heathtown has the all clear!
Molly, I'm afraid words fail me and I'm really finding it hard not to insult you, as you do me.
Crikey is very appropriate name for you, as you don't seem to get the gist of what I put up on here. You have disagreed with me for 3 years now about our plight in the top flight. It was a disaster, going backwards season after season. But would you accept that fact? No, because you continued to support a manger who was and has been totally out of his depth in the top flight.
getting to the prem wasn't a disaster, staying there wasn't a disaster, making roger johnson captain was a disaster. Our players in the third season weren't actually all that bad! I was pretty happy with our signings but it seems that the transition from workhorses to prima donnas was done all too quickly. We ended up with a few players that thought they were better than they were and the rest is history. If Mick couldn't sort out the bad attitudes then I personally don't think anyone could have. I blame the players for the drop out of the prem and for mick's sacking. The board though are to blame for what followed and the mess we are in now. The B and S are to blame for the constant spouting of tripe.
We have spent 26 of the last 30 years outside the top flight. We are now a League One club. But the looney duo of witless and cinci describe our time in the Premier League as a disaster
What would be the best words for describing the majority of the last 30 years then? Years that made you proud to be a supporter of this great club of ours?
As the article says "Am I dreaming this?"
Bending the truth then DJ
As i said yesterday, its all relative to expectations......the first two seasons were survival years.....job done, not a disaster.
Third year, ''we are going to push on'' ''nice new stand as we are now here for good'' ''bigger name signings''
And then the wheels fell off, you can call it what you want, for me it was a complete disaster and the worst season of all given all the hard work we had done to get to that point.
Its like a flight to new york ditching in the ocean 50 miles short of its destination after 7 hours of bliss.
No bending of the truth at all. When McCarthy was sacked Wolves were in their third highest league position in over 30 years. Not what I call a disaster. Maybe you are under the impression this is the Man Utd board. If they were 18th then maybe it would be called a disaster
Interesting analogy Cinci.
I’ve always thought getting to the prem was more like this....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WgqJKl-OLh4
...you’re bound to fail but it’s interesting to see how long you can stay airborne and hopefully the decent isn’t too damaging.
Always wanted to enter that birdman thing.
Like i say DJ, you can have your opinion, but i would imagine you are the only one who enjoyed that season then, it was painful to watch every week.
Getting there after all those years was not a disaster and maybe the first year was just an adrenaline trip. But we should have gone down in our second season and did in our third. Maybe describing it as a disaster was a bit over over the top a little but from 15th to 17th to relegation, But it's in response to your continual denial that we were not moving forward and that MM was out of his depth.
Crikey, (and that's not referring to you by the way, but good use of the word at this point) if I could recognize what was going on by merely watching the games from afar, how come you couldn't. Even you agreed eventually that it was in the best interest of the club that he should go.
If he had gone after the Blackburn game we may.........
Someone is trying to talk me into doing this next year Cinci...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gW5VFhXse_E
...I did it a couple of years ago (in fact I’m in that vid!) and swore I’d never do it again. Those rocks ‘kin hurt!
Ah really, thats awesome.......that does look pretty brutal mate.
Are you gonna disclose which one is you
And you two ex pats wonder why I disagree with you!
Witless still arguing that as we finished 2 points above Birmingham we deserved to go down not them in 2010/11. And he wonders why I call him the village idiot.
I argue with both of you about describing the season as a disaster and one of you says using the word disaster was over the top and the other says I was arguing not that it was a disaster but that it was enjoyable.
So you both completely agree with what I was arguing about then carry on arguing. When you moved to USA for a better life was that about spending every day on english forums finding things to argue about with people that aren't close enough to you to bash your heads together? Sad f.......
Hahaha, the one with the real tight ass?!?
I know the one

WITLESS continuing to post comments about MM, even though he criticises others for posting comments about MM. (Where's that two-faced smiley? )
One day we will see witless and cinci comment about the 2012/13 season. Maybe in a year's time. If 2011/12 was a disaster what does that make 2012/13?
equally a disaster
And i commented on this season all the time.....too much some would say
no you have far more to say about 2011/12 than 2012/13 cinci, you are stuck in a time warp. We rarely discuss the disaster that was Solbakken,
Not true, I have discussed a million times how foolish it was to sack him so early, turned out I was right
Is it an affliction that you ex pats catch that you talk bollox and then pretend you were right? Do you need that skill for a green card? Solbakken was absolutely useless but I am sure his style impressed everyone that didn't see his teams play
Solbakkens 'dreadful' management had us clear of relegation, thats a fact, I never said he was good, all I have said is he should not have been sacked when he was, things got even worse after he left
He had us tumbling down the table like a set of tumblers tumbling down from a rickety table.
Some of us were rather hoping he'd be getting the club into the upper levels of the division, and the possibility of promotion.
